Laura Muir has now added a European Indoor bronze medal to her list of honours after Russian Yelena Korobkina was found guilty of doping. Korobkina will now serve a four-year ban from September 2023, while Muir has now moved up to the podium in that race from 2015. The 30-year-old admitted she has conflicting emotions ahead of the rearranged medal ceremony.

Laura Muir admits she has mixed emotions after being retrospectively awarded a European Indoor bronze medal, as Russian Yelena Korobkina was stripped of the honour after being found guilty of doping offences.
The Scot came fourth at the 3,000m in Prague in 2015 and has now earned her place on the podium, while Dutch runner Maureen Koster has been promoted to second, and Belarusian Sviatlana Kudzelich will receive a gold medal.
Meanwhile, Korobkina will serve a four-year ban starting from September 2023 and her results between July 2013 and July 2016 will no longer count.
There is now going to be a relocated medal ceremony, and Muir partly wishes she could have had this moment back in Prague nine years ago.
"Predominantly I feel very fortunate and grateful to receive the bronze medal, particularly when still competing at an elite level, as I am aware many athletes are not afforded that opportunity," she told Scottish Athletics.
"Had I received the medal on the day of the race in Prague in 2015, it would have been my first senior international medal at an age of 21 years old.
"Missing out on that special moment, especially as I was not on the podium on the night, was very difficult. But looking back it made me more determined than ever to ensure the same outcome didn't happen for future championships, which luckily has been the case.
"I am very excited to see that particular European Indoors 2015 medal and it will have a proud place alongside my other sporting accomplishments.”
Muir endured a stellar year in 2023 after winning her fifth European indoor title in Istanbul, competing in the 1500m, and made history after becoming the first-ever Brit to win five golds at the European Indoors - this broke a record set by Colin Jackson and Jason Gardener.
