The stars of the NBA have lit up the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and they will return to the Bercy Arena to compete in a mouth-watering gold medal match between the United States and hosts France. Team USA overcame a defiant performance from Serbia in the semi-finals, while France got revenge for their group-stage defeat with a win against Germany to book their place in the final.

Some of the NBA's brightest stars will take to the court for one last Olympic dance when France face serial winners USA in the men's basketball gold medal match.
Les Bleus will hope to make home advantage count, but the USA have history on their side.
The Americans are going for their fifth consecutive title in this event and have never lost a gold medal match in men's basketball at the Olympic Games.
France will take solace from being the last team to beat the USA at the Olympics. David slayed Goliath at Tokyo 2020, with France winning their Group A clash 83-76 last time around.
However, the USA got their revenge, winning their 16th gold in the event with an 87-82 victory in the final.
When is the men's basketball final?
The likes of Steph Curry, LeBron James, Victor Wembanyama and Rudy Gobert will be in action in the gold medal match.
The action will get underway at 8.30pm BST on August 10, and that is not the only basketball action for fans to sink their teeth into on Saturday.
Germany and Serbia will also go head-to-head in the bronze medal match, with the game set to start at 10am BST.

What were the USA and France routes to the final?
Team USA finished top of Group C despite a tricky draw alongside Serbia. They beat Nikola Jokic's side 110-8 in their opening game before defeating South Sudan and Puerto Rico relatively comfortably.
They recorded another convincing victory in the quarter-finals, beating Brazil 122-87, with James making nine assists.
USA followed that up with a dramatic comeback victory over Serbia in the semis, overcoming a 13-point deficit in the final quarter.

France have had to battle adversity on their route to the gold medal match.
They finished second in Group B, defeating Brazil and overcoming Japan in overtime before falling to defeat against Germany.
The hosts got back to winning ways against Canada in the quarter-finals, and took revenge against Germany in the semi-finals to secure their spot in the final.
