Germany's Johannes Lochner led his team to a track record and four-man gold at St Moritz.
Pilot Lochner, Florian Bauer, Erec Bruckert and Georg Fleischhauer scorched down the Olympia Bobrun in a winning time of one minute and 4.28 seconds.
That made it three wins from five four-man World Cups for Team Lochner; a start record and an all-time best clocking at the historic venue.
Olympic and world champion Francesco Friedrich settled for silver with Emils Cipulis helping Latvia take bronze.
In the two-woman race, Olympic gold medallist Laura Nolte of Germany claimed victory by a margin of just 0.08 seconds.
Nolte and Neele Schuten's superb run relegated compatriots Lisa Buckwitz and Lauryn Sieberet to silver, with Switzerland's Melanie Hasler and Mara Morell taking bronze in front of a home crowd.
