ENGLAND'S AMY HUNT TALKS TRASH STARTS AND SILVER MEDAL
"We definitely came in to get Gold," the women's 100m runner-up told TNT Sports.
"I’m really happy to come away with Silver. It's very, very close to my personal best, in these very Glaswegian conditions, so it’s good to get another championships in the bag and to be bringing medals back from every championships is something I’m very proud of."
On how she could have improved to push for Gold: ”I think my first 60m was absolutely trash (laughs), so I think had it been a 120m race I might have won, but that’s the name of the game and I knew to beat Zoe (Hobbs) I had to get out to 60m and unfortunately I didn’t do it to the best of my ability this time.
"It’s a big takeaway for me to know that I can still run quick with such a trash first half of the race, so when I can start replicating the things I'm doing in training, it should be really good."

THE 100M MEN'S CHAMPION EMMANUEL ESEME SPEAKS TO TNT SPORTS
"That was a crazy race. I’m surprised at the time, you know. I just had to get the confidence from the semi final, because I had a good time in the semi final, not forcing too much.
"And I was like, 'just do the same thing. You may not have a good start, but do your thing, don’t rush the execution, just follow everything and it’s going to be alright.'"
