When are the 2025/26 Ashes?
The first Test of the Ashes series was played at Perth Stadium, ending after just two days of thrilling action, with Travis Head inspiring the hosts to an eight-wicket win.
The second Test, a day-night match, started on December 4 at The Gabba in Brisbane, with a pink ball used instead of the traditional red ball, and Joe Root scoring his first Test century in Australia.
But Australia always had the upper hand, and they sealed a comfortable win on the fourth evening of the match.
England were then beaten by 82 runs in the third Test at the Adelaide Oval, which got underway on December 16, with Head once again playing a key role as he posted 170 in Australia's second innings.
The tourists did strike back in Melbourne to get their first victory down under since 2011, and are targeting back-to-back wins as they play the fifth and final Test in Sydney.
