Team GB silver medallist at the Paris Olympics, Anna Henderson, will join the Lidl-Trek cycling team for the 2025 season. Leaving Visma-Lease a Bike, the 25-year-old joins fellow British rider Riejanne Markus at the American team as she looks to build on her time trial success at Paris 2024. "I'm eager to see how we can push each other to achieve our goals," Henderson said.

Olympic silver medallist Anna Henderson will join Lidl-Trek for the 2025 season on a three-year contract, bringing an end to her stay at Visma-Lease a Bike.
Henderson won silver for Team GB in a rain-soaked Paris in the opening days of the Games, coming home in second place in the women's time trial event.
Australia's Grace Brown stormed to victory in the race to secure gold, with Henderson finishing 1:31.59 behind the 32-year-old, who announced she would retire from cycling at the end of 2024.
The Team GB star held off world champion Chloe Dygert of the USA to win silver.
The 25-year-old is the second British rider to join Lidl-Trek this upcoming winter after Riejanne Markus penned a three-year contract with the US team earlier this year.
Henderson originally pursued a career in alpine through her teens, but a serious injury suffered in 2016 meant she then focused on cycling.
Henderson has established herself as one of the top time trialists in the sport, having won two British titles among her six professional wins since turning pro in 2020.
"Joining Lidl-Trek felt like the right step to continue developing my skills and contributing to a team that is focused on success," Henderson told Lidl-Trek media.

"My decision to change teams was motivated by a wish for new challenges and opportunities to grow as a rider. Lidl-Trek presented an interesting environment with strong support, a clear vision for my future, and a team dynamic that aligned with my professional and personal goals.
"I'm feeling really positive about the move and excited for what lies ahead for the next 3 years. I'm particularly looking forward to working with a new group of teammates and staff, and I'm eager to see how we can push each other to achieve our goals."
