Vollering is among the favourites to win the event following her triumph in the general classification at the Giro d'Italia earlier this year.

Niewiadoma-Phinney has also been in fine form in 2026, finishing second at three Classics in the form of the Omloop Nieuwsblad, Strade Bianche, and Amstel Gold Race. She also finished third at this year’s Liege–Bastogne–Liege.
