The riders were forced to wait for around 20 seconds as the animals were guided across the narrow road in the Brecon Beacons by a number of farmers. The interruption took place at around the halfway mark of the stage, with the riders on their way to Cardiff.

The final stage of the Tour of Britain was briefly interrupted as a herd of cows crossed the road in front of the riders.
The incident occurred just over 54km into the 112km stage, which started in Newport and ended in Cardiff.
The peloton was forced to wait for around 20 seconds as the cows, seemingly guided by a number of farmers, crossed over a narrow road in the Brecon Beacons.
It was far from ideal for the riders, who lost valuable time on the breakaway group.
The TNT Sports commentary team said: "Oh wow! Yes, loads of cows crossing the road. It was going to happen. I think they've got a farmer with them, a series of farmers in actual fact.
"Wow, that will add to the time gap. Cattle being herded across the road! I can't help but think they might have noticed the race coming."

Among the peloton was Geraint Thomas, who was taking part in the final race of his career.
The final stage began in Newport at the velodrome named after the 39-year-old and finished in the Welsh capital, the site of his homecoming parade after winning the Tour de France in 2018.

"The last stage goes within 100 metres of my mum and dad's house, past the pub where I had my first pint," Thomas said before Sunday's stage.
"I'm just lucky the Tour of Britain comes at the end of the season, so I can finish my career on home roads. It will be an amazing way to finish."
