Craime and Team Spirit claim Street Fighter 6 and MSC titles at the Esports World Cup

Craime took home the $250,000 top prize after lifting the Street Fighter 6 trophy. He defeated YAMAGUCHI in the semi-finals before overcoming SBI e-Sports' Hibiki in the final. Hinao secured third place after winning the third place playoff.

Team Spirit were awarded $1 million after beating Yangon Galacticos 4-3 in a thrilling MSC final. ONIC finished third after defeating Team Falcons PH in the third place playoff.

Elsewhere at the Esports World Cup, competition continued in the group stage of the Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor tournament, while the Overwatch playoffs and the survival round of the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series also took place.

Action also continued in the Last Chance Qualifiers for both TEKKEN 8 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

In the Overwatch playoffs, the semi-final line up was confirmed. Twisted Minds will face Weibo Gaming after overcoming Geekay Esports and Spacestation Gaming respectively. On the other side of the bracket, Zeta Division defeated Dallas Fuel to book a semi-final against T1, who secured their place by beating Crazy Raccoon in the quarter finals.

Two teams also secured places in the Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor playoffs following matches in Groups B and D. ROC Esports progressed from Group B, while Geekay Esports advanced from Group D.

The remaining teams from both groups that lost in the upper bracket will have another opportunity to stay in contention when they compete in the lower bracket on Monday.

In the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series survival round, Team Falcons finished top of the standings. Team Vitality, Leviatán, Novo Esports, Team PBJ and Ekletyc completed the top six, with all six sides progressing to Sunday’s finals alongside the 10 teams that had already qualified from the group stage.
