Survival Round begins in Dota 2 at the Esports World Cup, as does the MLBB Women’s International

The second week of the Esports World Cup began with action from Dota 2 as we entered the survival round of this tournament, while we saw group stage play from the MLBB Women's International (MWI).

We saw action across both Group A and Group B to decide the upper bracket for both, and in the latter, we saw Team Vitality, Gen.G Esports, Galaxy Phoenix, and Team Falcons progress past MIBR.LOS, FUT Esports, NATUS VINCERE, and FALCON DAISIES, respectively.

It means in the Group B upper bracket, Team Vitality will face GEN.G Esports, and Galaxy Phoenix shall face off with Team Falcons.

Meanwhile, in the lower bracket, FUT Esports will face MIBR.LOS, while NATUS VINCERE and FALCON DAISIES will square off in the other clash.

Then in Group A, the four teams to progress were SAETA, Team Rey Young, Geltek Cyber Team, and Twisted Minds, as they beat Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, Geekay Esports, and Virtus.Pro respectively.

So, in the upper bracket, SAETA will face off against Team Rey Young, and Geltek Cyber Team will square off with Twisted Minds. Then in the lower bracket, Team Falcons will play Aurora Gaming, while in the other clash, it will see Geekay Esports against Virtus.Pro.

While in the Dota 2 tournament, we have seen the beginning of the survival round, which has seen LGD Gaming progress past MOUZ, and they will now face BB Team after this victory.

We also saw Team Liquid progress past Xtreme Gaming, which means they will now face Team Spirit in the next stage of the survival round. Then Aurora Gaming will now face Rune Eaters after the latter beat Virtus.Pro in the first round of the survival round.

Meanwhile, 1W will have to wait to discover who they will face in the second stage of the survival round, as it was announced that the match between PlayTime and Vici Gaming had to be rescheduled due to a problem that has been detected that would affect the integrity of the matchup.
