Paris Olympics 2024: Charlotte Fry continues Team GB's equestrian medal rush with dressage bronze

Charlotte Fry secured yet another medal for Team GB in the individual dressage on Sunday, securing a bronze with a fantastic technical routine at the Palace of Versailles. Fry scored 88.971% to finish behind a German one-two of Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl and Isabell Werth. The bronze is Team GB's fifth equestrian medal of the Paris Games.

Charlotte Fry secured Team GB's fifth equestrian medal of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, securing bronze in the individual dressage on Sunday.
The bronze adds to an impressive campaign for Team GB and 2022 world champion Fry - after she contributed to the team dressage bronze won on Saturday.
Fry chalked up an impressive 88.971% on her horse Glamourdale in front of the scenic backdrop of the Palace of Versaille.
The score is a marked improvement on her qualifying mark of 78.913%.
The Brit put in a dazzling performance on top of a "best of British" soundtrack, which seemed to bring the best out of Glamourdale, with the horse exuding energy in the arena.
Sunday's bronze became Fry's third Olympic medal after she made her debut in Tokyo three years ago.

Germany produced a dominant performance, with Jessica Von Bredow-Werndl defending her Tokyo 2020 gold medal as the only individual to crack the 90% mark - earning 90.093%. Compatriot Isabell Werth sat just behind with 89.614%.
Britain's Carl Hester led the standings heading into the final six riders, but toppled to sixth following the strong final group.
Becky Moody, who replaced Charlotte Dujardin on the eve of the Paris Games, finished in eighth.
Team GB have enjoyed a strong equestrian campaign, with the two dressage bronze medals adding to the bronze already won by Laura Collett in individual eventing.
Britain also won gold in the team eventing and team jumping events.
