Ange Postecoglou said his side’s 3-0 UEFA Europa League victory over Elfsborg was "made in Tottenham" after three of the club’s academy graduates found the net.
Second-half goals from Dane Scarlett, Damola Ajayi and Mikey Moore saw Tottenham claim fourth place in the league phase to qualify for the round of 16.
"It was made in Tottenham tonight," Postecoglou told TNT Sports. "[I’m] super pleased for the young boys. We shouldn’t lose sight of the fact we had another couple of 18-year-olds out there as well.
"It’s great for the club. I’m sure those boys won’t sleep tonight.
"But we needed that. We needed some energy. We designed the game today trying to protect some of our players. We’ve got a big game coming up [against Brentford on Sunday] and we needed the young boys today and they stood up."
Crouch compares Scarlett to kane
After the game, former Tottenham striker Peter Crouch singled out Scarlett’s performance and compared the 20-year-old and his journey to that of Tottenham and England great Harry Kane.

Scarlett was recalled from his loan at Oxford United earlier this month due to an injury crisis at his parent club. At Oxford, Scarlett managed just four Championship goals in 20 appearances, many of which came from the bench.
Kane had a spate of unsuccessful loans in the Football League before finding his feet and ultimately blossoming at Spurs.
Crouch: "I don’t think you should be disheartened when you go out on loan. There’s a certain No. 9 at this football club that I remember going out on loan at Leyton Orient, at Millwall, at Leicester.

"Obviously, that’s Harry Kane I’m talking about and he ended up being an absolute legend at the club and listen, there’s a lot to live up to regarding that calibre of player, but I thought Scarlett’s all-round game was fantastic.
"I thought he held the ball up well, he set up the second goal and I thought his touches [were good].

"And don’t underestimate [Dejan] Kulusevski’s pass. I think he’s the difference in this team. Whenever he plays you feel like something’s going to happen.
"But Dane Scarlett’s movement was really good and he gets on the end of it and his confidence grows."
