France aim for golden finish
France have not won an Olympic football medal in 40 years, but that run will end on home soil.
Thierry Henry’s side beat Egypt in extra-time to make the final with Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta scoring twice in the semi-final.
"I am mainly happy for Team France. When you see everyone picking up medals all over the place, you say to yourself that you can't let them down.
"You don't want to be the team that doesn't win a medal, and now we will see what colour we get. But honestly I am living a dream and I don't want to wake up."
Spain will be looking to complete the Euro-Olympic double after victory at Euro 2024 earlier this summer.
It will be the first time gold has been won by a European men’s team since Spain triumphed in 1992.
Will Marta bow out with gold?
When Brazil legend Marta was sent off against Spain in the group stages it looked like her incredible Olympic career might be over.
Given a two-game ban, Marta’s sixth Olympics might have ended in tears. Â
Instead, she will have one last chance to fight for gold, having twice previously won silver.
It will be a tough ask for Brazil as they face a USA side chasing a record-extending fifth gold medal.

USA have won their two knockout games 1-0 as they bid for glory in manager Emma Hayes’ first major tournament with the team.
“It’s about how you just have to dig something out,” Hayes said after the semi-final win over Germany.
“It’s heart and head, and that our group wants to create a new history for themselves. They did enough to get us into the final, and that’s just the next step. We have to take the next step.”
