The Premier League is back for another exciting weekend of action. Here is all the latest injury news ahead of Arsenal's trip to Newcastle United, AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City, and several other exciting fixtures. Gunners defender Gabriel could be back for their trip to the North East, but Alisson, Diogo Jota, and Federico Chiesa are not expected to return for Liverpool just yet.

Gabriel in race against clock to return for Saturday
Gabriel could feature in Arsenal's Premier League clash with Newcastle United on Saturday, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
The defender was substituted early in the second half of his side's 2-2 draw against Liverpool last weekend.
However, Riccardo Calafiori and Martin Odegaard are both out, while Ben White remains a doubt for the clash.
"We have a training session today. If he [Gabriel] can complete that, he will be available," Mikel Arteta told a press conference.
"Riccy [Riccardo Calafiori] and Martin [Odegaard] are definitely out. With Ben [White], we don't know yet. Let's wait and see."
To make matters worse for Arteta, Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu is not expected back until after the international break.
"No, I don't expect him [Tomiyasu] to be available before the break, unfortunately."

Slot reveals Liverpool trio out until after international break
Arne Slot has revealed that he does not expect to see Alisson, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa return to fitness before the international break.
That means the trio are all out for Saturday's match with Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield.
"It is always difficult to tell you exactly when they will be ready," said Slot. "The fact is there is that they are not there before the international break but let's see if they can join us after."
Palace without Wharton and Eze
Adam Wharton and Eberechi Eze are out until after the international break and will miss Crystal Palace's crucial match against fellow strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The pair were both substituted in the first half of Palace's Carabao Cup triumph over Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Eagles boss Oliver Glasner has revealed that Wharton will undergo surgery on a groin injury, while Eze will be unavailable for Palace's matches against Wolves and Fulham.
"We took the final decision he will have surgery so [Wharton] won’t be available for Wolves," said Glasner. "He tried [to train] today but there’s too much pain and it makes no sense.
"[Eze] is injured. He has a hamstring injury and we will miss him for at least against Wolves and against Fulham."

Howe says Gordon and Isak could return
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will assess how Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak are feeling today before deciding if they will feature against Arsenal.
"They both feel OK," said Howe. "We will assess how they feel today. Sometimes 48 hours after the game, you can feel different to 24 hours.
"It's not necessarily a straight line with how the body feels. They have both had niggling injuries so we’ll make a decision today."
Van de Ven out of Villa match
Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Micky van de Ven will be unavailable for Tottenham Hotspur's match with Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Dutch defender was substituted in the 14th minute of Spurs' 2-1 win against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup this week.
However, Cristian Romero, Timo Werner and Son Heung-min are all in contention to feature.
"He has strained his hamstring," said Postecoglou. "It's not too serious, but probably after the international break for him.

"He was disappointed, obviously, and he was looking forward to the [Manchester City] game so a bit emotional, but it's definitely not a bad one like last time, which kept him out for a while."
"The others were Romero and Werner, but at the moment they still have a chance for the weekend. Son has trained today. If he gets through training tomorrow, he should be okay."
Barkley to miss Tottenham clash
Unai Emery has said that Ross Barkley will not feature during Aston Villa's trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The midfielder has made eight Premier League appearances this season, scoring one goal and registering one assist.
"We had only one injured player and it’s Ross Barkley," said Emery. "He has a small injury, but he’s not going to be available for the next two weeks."
