If there was ever a match in the 1990s which reflected how dominant Sir Alex Ferguson and Manchester United had become, it was the classic encounter against Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils were chasing a third consecutive league title after being crowned champions during the first two seasons of the Premier League era.

A Blackburn Rovers side led by Kenny Dalglish, and goalscoring duo Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton, were looking to disrupt United's three-peat ambitions as they sat top of the league table with 11 matches remaining.

However, United were determined to fight until the end and lay down a marker for Blackburn and the rest of the league as the title race was about to intensify.

What happened that day in Manchester on March 4, 1995 will go down as one of the most memorable results in Premier League history.
