Nottingham Forest's win at Everton moved the team into second spot in the Premier League as their excellent season continued on Sunday, while Wolverhampton Wanderers grabbed a late point at Tottenham to keep the pressure on Ange Postecoglou. Elsewhere, Fulham drew with Bournemouth as the away side equalised late on, and Crystal Palace beat Southampton.

Nottingham Forest beat Everton to move second in the Premier League on Sunday, while Jorgen Strand Larsen’s late equaliser gave Wolverhampton Wanderers a point against Tottenham.

In-form striker Chris Wood opened the scoring after 15 minutes, before Morgan Gibbs-White added a second just after the hour mark to secure all three points.

While Nuno Espirito Santo’s side moved further up the UEFA Champions League spots, the defeat left Everton in 16th place.

In north London, Tottenham looked on course to earn three points and take the pressure off manager Ange Postecoglou, only to fall to a late equaliser.

Hwang Hee-chan followed up his goal against Manchester United with an early opener, but the returning Rodrigo Bentancur scored after 12 minutes to level the scores. Brennan Johnson then added a second in first-half added time to put Spurs ahead.

The game looked set to end in the home side's favour, only for Strand Larsen to pop up on 87 minutes for a share of the spoils.

Tottenham are 11th, while Wolves are in 17th, two points clear of the relegation zone.

Fulham were another London side denied a win by a late equaliser. Raul Jimenez opened the scoring five minutes before the end of the first half, but Bournemouth struck back early in the second period through Evanilson.

Harry Wilson followed up his goal against Chelsea to put Fulham back in front on 72 minutes, only for Dango Ouattara to notch his side's second in the 89th minute.

Fulham are in eighth, one point behind Bournemouth in sixth position.

Relegation-threatened Southampton took an early lead at Crystal Palace through promising teenage midfielder Tyler Dibling, but the home side scored just after the half-hour when Trevoh Chalobah equalised, before Eberechi Eze grabbed the winner seven minutes into the second half.

Southampton remain bottom on just six points, 10 points from safety, while Palace are 15th.

In a slightly earlier kick-off, Manchester City grabbed a 2-0 win at Leicester City with goals from Savinho and Erling Haaland, meaning City are in fifth spot as they chase Champions League football next season, and Leicester are in 18th, two points behind Wolves.
