Danny Welbeck continued his excellent form for Brighton & Hove Albion as he opened the scoring for the South Coast side in their 3-0 win at home to Leeds United in the Premier League on Saturday. Elsewhere, Wolverhampton Wanderers were beaten 3-0 at Fulham and had Emmanuel Agbadou sent off, while Crystal Palace defeated Brentford at Selhurst Park 2-0.

Danny Welbeck scored again as Brighton & Hove Albion beat Leeds United 3-0, Wolverhampton Wanderers lost 3-0 at Fulham, and Crystal Palace defeated Brentford 2-0.

Welbeck's superb form continued as the 34-year-old notched the opener for Brighton against Leeds on the South Coast. Yankuba Minteh found Mats Wieffer with a ball over the top, before the forward squared it to Welbeck to finish.

Minteh provided another assist in the second half, teeing up Diego Gomez on 64 minutes, and six minutes later Georginio Rutter was on hand to assist Gomez for his second after a Jayden Bogle error. The win moves Brighton into 10th. Leeds are 16th following the defeat.

Fulham eased to victory over struggling Wolves at Craven Cottage.

Ryan Sessegnon gave the home side the lead after breaking the offside trap on nine minutes and slotting past Sam Johnstone in goal, set up by an excellent pass from former Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.

Wolves went down to 10 men when Emmanuel Agbadou saw red in the first half when his foul was judged to have denied Josh King a clear goalscoring opportunity.

A superb 62nd-minute effort from Harry Wilson made it two, with the Welsh winger striking low from distance.

Yerson Mosquera then put through his own net as the game was put beyond the visitors. Wolves are bottom with two points, still searching for their first league win of the season and Fulham moved to 14th.

Crystal Palace had France international striker Jean-Philippe Mateta to thank as they took the lead at Selhurst Park against Brentford on the half-hour mark. Jefferson Lerma headed a cross toward Mateta, who flicked the ball over Caoimhin Kelleher.

Brentford skipper Nathan Collins then headed a long throw into his own net early in the second half as Palace doubled their lead. Brentford sit in 12th spot, and Palace are now ninth.

Viktor Gyokeres struck on 14 minutes to put Mikel Arteta’s men ahead, then Declan Rice made it two on 35 minutes as he headed in to convert Leandro Trossard's assist as Arsenal beat Burnley 2-0. The win took Arsenal seven points clear of Bournemouth at the top of the table, with Burnley 17th.

Manchester United scored on 34 minutes when Casemiro netted with a header from a corner, but Morgan Gibbs-White and then Nicolo Savona scored on 48 and 50 minutes respectively for a dramatic turnaround for Sean Dyche as Nottingham Forest threatened to end United's recent good form.

However, Amad Diallo produced an outstanding volley from distance when Forest failed to properly clear a corner, giving Ruben Amorim’s men a share of the points with a 2-2 draw. United finished the day in seventh spot. Forest are 18th.

In the early evening kick-off, Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-0 to Chelsea in north London thanks to a Joao Pedro strike. Tottenham are in fourth, with Chelsea fifth, behin their London rivals on goal difference.

Liverpool beat Aston Villa, ending their five-match domestic losing streak with goals from Mohamed Salah and Ryan Gravenberch. The win moves Liverpool into third spot, level on points with second-placed Bournemouth, and Aston Villa are 11th.
