Kevin De Bruyne has hinted that he may stay in the Premier League when he leaves Manchester City at the end of the season.

The Belgian midfielder spoke after City lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final, handing The Eagles the first major trophy in their history.

De Bruyne announced last month that he would leave City after 10 years with the club and has since been linked with several sides from around the globe.

He has also been linked with a sensational move to City's Premier League rivals Liverpool in the press, and he refused to rule out staying in England beyond the end of his City tenure.

"I want to play good football you know, whatever the decision will be," De Bruyne said after being asked if he is still hungry to play in the Premier League.

"I know you are trying to guess where I am going to go, but I will make my decision and you guys will know when I know.

"I don't know [If I would like to stay in the Premier League], it depends on who comes.

"Like I said to my Belgian colleagues, I have a family and I have young kids.

"I have to take a decision that works for all of us, not just me.

"When I was 20 years old and all by myself, I could make a decision, and it would be easy, but now it is a bit more complex."

He was asked if he had been in talks with any new clubs.

"Yeah of course," he responded. "[I will let you know my decision] whenever I am ready to make one."

De Bruyne, 33, then left the door open for a sensational summer move to one of City's Premier League rivals when asked if any English clubs were a potential destination. "Maybe," he added.

City have won the last four Premier League titles, but fell well short of champions Liverpool this season and will have a rare trophyless campaign after their Wembley disappointment.

Pep Guardiola's team now have two league games remaining as they battle for a top five finish, at home to Bournemouth on Tuesday night and away at Fulham next Sunday.
