Man Utd close in on Mazraoui

Manchester United have reached a "verbal agreement" to sign Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
However, any potential deal could be delayed by Aaron Wan-Bissaka's ongoing negotiations with West Ham.
"Foot Mercato report that United have struck an agreement with Bayern for the signing of Mazraoui," a report in The Sun reads.
"The Morocco international has also already said yes to the deal, having seen a move to West Ham fall through last week.
"He had looked destined to join The Hammers, only for the transfer to collapse after the club failed to reach an agreement on his agent's fee.
"West Ham are now pushing to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from United, the report adds, which is delaying Mazraoui's arrival.
The two clubs have agreed a deal, with talks ongoing over personal terms."

Ramsdale set for Forest move?

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale could join Nottingham Forest on loan.
Ramsdale lost his place as Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper to David Raya last season and has largely been on the substitutes' bench.
According to The Sun, Forest could be willing to offer him an escape.
“Nottingham Forest are eyeing a loan move for 'keeper Aaron Ramsdale,” writes the newspaper.
“Boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants the Arsenal and England No . 2 as his No.  1 but Forest cannot meet The Gunners’ asking price of around £50 million.
“Instead, City Ground chiefs are willing to gamble and wait on Arsenal letting Ramsdale, 26, leave on loan right at the end of the window.
“There have been no suitable bids for Ramsdale so far but plenty of Premier League clubs are looking.
“Forest think that paying all of Ramsdale’s wages plus a chunky bonus may give them a real chance.”

Chelsea set to complete Jorgensen deal

Chelsea are set to complete the signing of goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal.
That is according to a report in the Mail, which claims The Blues will offer the Denmark Under-21 international a seven-year contract.
“Chelsea are closing in on a £20.7 million deal for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen,” reads the article.
"The 22-year-old is due to undergo a medical this week ahead of agreeing a seven-year contract.
“As reported by Mail Sport, The Blues had offered £17m but Villarreal held out for £21m - with both clubs reaching a compromise in recent days.
“Jorgensen is thought to be keen to join the club to compete with current No. 1 Robert Sanchez and will pledge his long-term future to Stamford Bridge.
“He could now fly out to the United States for his medical checks.”

Liverpool join race for Gyokeres

Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, it has been claimed.
The Mirror reports Arne Slot’s side –-who have not yet signed anyone this summer - are interested in the former Coventry striker but agreeing a deal with the Portuguese side may be “unlikely”.
"Liverpool are set to provide Arsenal competition in the race to sign Viktor Gyokeres this summer according to reports,” states the outlet.
“The Sporting CP forward, who arrived in Portugal from Coventry 12 months ago, scored 43 goals in 49 games last term and is said to have a £86 million release clause in his contract.
“The Reds and Tottenham have both registered their interest in the Swedish sharpshooter, with Arsenal said to be unwilling to meet the fee. It is unlikely Liverpool would want to hit the figure either however.”
