Gyokeres open to Man Utd move
Victor Gyokeres is now open for a move to Manchester United, with Arsenal making Benjamin Sesko their main transfer target this summer.
Sweden international Gyokeres has been linked with a move to Man Utd and Arsenal, but according to the Mirror, The Gunners are prioritising RB Leipzig star Sesko, potentially paving the way for Sporting CP forward Gyokeres to reunite with former boss Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
The article reads: "Victor Gyokeres looks to have changed his tune and is now open to a move to Manchester United - despite them not having Champions League football - which was believed to have been a determining factor.
"The Swede has long been expected to leave Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal had been seen as his most likely destination if he did head to the Premier League. But now a reunion with Ruben Amorim could be on the cards.
"No formal talks have been held between those in Manchester and Sporting bosses, but The Red Devils' pursuit of a new striker is well documented. The Portuguese side want around £60 million for Gyokeres - which is a £25m reduction on his £85m release clause.
"Gyokeres has a verbal agreement in place with Sporting allowing him to leave for less after he chose to stay in Lisbon last summer. Arsenal, like United, are in the market for a new frontman after opting against signing a new No. 9 for several windows.
"Mirror Football understands that Arsenal are prioritising Benjamin Sesko, though.
"Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta has been negotiating with representatives of both players and their respective clubs simultaneously as The Gunners seek the best deal.
"However, the decision among the club’s hierarchy is to push forward with their swoop for the RB Leipzig forward, rather than Gyokeres."

Man Utd target Osimhen has decision to make
Victor Osimhen must decide whether he wants to move to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal or wait on Manchester United to submit an offer.
The Nigeria international is back at parent club Napoli after helping Galatasaray to the Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup with 37 goals in 41 appearances.
The Mirror writes: "Victor Osimhen has just five days to decide on a lucrative move to Al Hilal in time for the Club World Cup - or wait for Manchester United.
"Napoli hope that a club matches his £63 million release clause but Galatasaray are trying to sign him for less. The Super Lig champions could be blown out of the water, though, as Al Hilal have turned their attention to Osimhen after being snubbed by United captain Bruno Fernandes.
"According to German outlet Neunzigplus, Al Hilal are willing to pay Osimhen a staggering £34m per year - nearly triple Galatasaray's £13m proposal.
"Al Hilal are also willing to sell former Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to free-up a starting place. But could Osimhen reject both and hold out for United?"

Liverpool turn down Diaz offer
Liverpool have rejected an offer from Barcelona for their forward Luis Diaz - but uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at the club remains.
The Colombia international has two years left on his contract with the Premier League champions but any attempt to extend his deal has not yet been successful.
The Guardian writes: "Liverpool have told Barcelona that Luis Diaz is not for sale after rejecting the Spanish champions’ first approach for the Colombia international.
"Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, contacted Liverpool officials on Wednesday to discuss the possible transfer of Diaz, who also has interest from the Saudi Pro League.
"However, Deco was informed Liverpool have no intention of selling the 28-year-old even though there are two years remaining on Diaz’s contract and there has been no progress over extending his successful stay on Merseyside.
"Diaz remains part of Arne Slot’s plans for next season and, unless a bid arrives that enables Liverpool to improve their squad or the player pushes for a move, the forward will remain at Anfield on his current contract."
