Gyokeres not interested in Man Utd
Viktor Gyokeres has no interest in following Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim to Manchester United, according to a report in The Sun.
The Sweden international has been linked with a move to United for some time and speculation has only intensified since Amorim’s appointment at Old Trafford was confirmed.
“Viktor Gyokeres does not want to follow Ruben Amorim to Manchester United, according to reports,” notes The Sun.
“According to Portuguese outlet Record, Gyokeres is not keen on the idea.
“They claim that he has ‘turned his nose up’ at the prospect of joining Man Utd.
“It's then added that Gyokeres believes that Amorim's presence would be the only positive aspect of moving to Old Trafford."
Arsenal eyeing up Kudus
Arsenal are eyeing up Mohammed Kudus as a potential replacement for Leandro Trossard, reports the Mirror.
The outlet claims The Gunners will splash £90 million on the West Ham forward if they lose Trossard, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad.
“Arsenal are lining up West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus as a £90 million replacement for Saudi target Leandro Trossard,” reads the article.
“The Gunners have a long-standing interest in Kudus and explored signing the Ghana star before he joined The Hammers from Ajax for around £40m in August last year. But Arsenal again have Kudus in their sights as Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad are eyeing a £40m deal for Trossard after failing to land the Belgian, 29, on an initial loan in a late-summer move.
“Kudus still has just under four years left to run on his contract with West Ham. Elsewhere, 39-time Belgian international Trossard has just 18 months remaining on his own deal with Arsenal.”
West Ham could replace Paqueta with Jesus
West Ham “want to sign” Brazilian striker Igor Jesus from Botafogo according to The Sun, but that could spell the end of Lucas Paqueta’s time in London.
Jesus only joined Botafogo this year but is linked with a £30m move to The Hammers, while Paqueta’s future at the club is reportedly uncertain.
“Botafogo owner John Textor was keen to move him to Everton if he had won the takeover battle for the Merseysiders,” reads the article.
“Now The Hammers are eager to sign Jesus as they look to add extra flair to their forward line - and they could try for him in January.
“Botafogo would take Paqueta and try to come to an arrangement with West Ham.”
