A report in French from L'Equipe claims that PSG have started talks with the Arsenal forward over a proposed summer transfer.
Martinelli's Arsenal contract runs until 2027, and PSG's sporting advisor Luis Campos is said to have held talks with Martinelli's team and representatives of RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande.
Luis Enrique is said to be keen on bolstering his forward line even further, which already includes the likes of Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

PSG are also closely monitoring Dembele’s contract situation, with an agreement still yet to be reached over an extension for the 28-year-old.
The club’s hierarchy will not stand in the Ballon d’Or winner’s way if he decides to leave the French capital, with his contract set to expire in 2028.

Bastoni to snub Liverpool interest
Alessandro Bastoni will not join Liverpool this summer, and will either remain at Inter Milan or join Barcelona.
Football Italia highlights a report from Mundo Deportivo, which claims that "informal talks" have already been held between Barca and the defender's representatives.
The report reads: "Bastoni is said to be fascinated by the Blaugrana and the city of Barcelona, but this doesn’t mean he’ll push to leave Inter.
"Mundo Deportivo confirms that Bastoni is Barcelona’s priority target to strengthen their defence in 2026-27, even if coach Hansi Flick has yet to give his final green light before club-to-club talks begin.
"Inter are unwilling to sell Bastoni on the cheap, and there have been mixed reports about the Nerazzurri’s asking price, which is not expected to be below €60m.
"According to Mundo Deportivo, the Nerazzurri’s demands will be even higher at €70m-80m."
Premier League interest in Camavinga
Eduardo Camavinga could be one of the players to move on from Real Madrid this summer.
The 23-year-old has been identified as someone whose exit could help Los Blancos generate funds to accommodate any summer signings.
AS reports that Paris Saint-Germain and Premier League clubs are amongst those who would be interested in a potential transfer.
The report reads: ”Camavinga, meanwhile, stands out as one of the key pieces in generating revenue through outgoing transfers. Balancing the books becomes even more critical if the club decides to widen its scope and increase spending in the transfer market.
”The Frenchman, due to his erratic performances and especially after triggering the chain reaction that led to the referee Slavko Vincic’s costly slip‑up at the Allianz, has landed squarely in the crosshairs. For Madrid, he is an asset - and a sellable one, should they choose that path.
"Paris Saint-Germain is circling, and there is interest in England as well. He is not alone. Fran García also carries an attractive market tag.”
With that in mind, the potential acquisition of a player like Martinelli would become more pressing.

Man City in battle with Barca for striker
Manchester City are facing competition from Barcelona in their bid to sign Palmeiras striker Eduardo Conceicao, but he has his heart set on a move to Barcelona.
A report from Marca claims that City have already started talks to sign the 16-year-old in a transfer which could be worth £35 million.
However, Conceicao is said to be willing to bide his time to achieve his dream of joining the Spanish giants in the near future.
The report reads: ”Deco has been able to follow the striker in the South American Under-17 Championship, where he has shone brightly and helped Brazil to third place.
"The player's calmness is also due to the fact that he would not be able to move to Europe until the January 2028 transfer window. That is why, for the moment, he will not listen to other offers, no matter how tempting they may be.
”In addition, Barcelona maintains a good relationship with Palmeiras that would facilitate any operation in the medium term. So the evolution of Eduardo Conceicao in the coming months will be crucial to try to reach the club he wants.”
