After suffering four consecutive defeats, Chelsea have made a decision on the future of Liam Rosenior. Elsewhere in Tuesday's Paper Round, Crystal Palace have shortlisted Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola as a replacement for Oliver Glasner, and Napoli are monitoring four Manchester United players this summer, including defender Harry Maguire and midfielder Casemiro.

Chelsea have no plans to sack Liam Rosenior this summer - even if he misses out on a UEFA Champions League place, according to The Telegraph.

Rosenior has suffered four consecutive defeats as The Blues boss, a run that has seen the club slip to sixth in the Premier League table and exit the Champions League.

The Telegraph writes: "Liam Rosenior’s position as Chelsea head coach is currently viewed as being secure even if the club miss out on qualifying for the Champions League.

"Telegraph Sport understands that Chelsea do not plan to review Rosenior’s performance formally before the summer of 2027 and have no intention of making a change at the end of this season.

"The only scenario in which that stance could change would be if Chelsea were to implode over the final weeks of the season, but there is no expectation of that happening.

"While Chelsea’s aim is to qualify for the Champions League, Rosenior’s future does not depend on it and he would not be held solely responsible for missing out, having only taken over in January.

"Chelsea view this summer as being critical in terms of recruitment with the club desperate to improve the mental resilience of the squad and provide Rosenior with a better balance of options."

Napoli chasing FOUR Man Utd players

The Daily Express carries a report that Napoli are monitoring four Manchester United players this summer.

Harry Maguire, Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Tom Heaton could have a reunion with former Red Devil Scott McTominay, it has been claimed.

The outlet notes: "Napoli are reportedly pursuing up to four United players whose contracts expire this summer.

"Antonio Conte's outfit could secure another collection of cut-price deals if their Old Trafford recruitment drive proves successful, potentially re-uniting McTominay with one or several former United team-mates.

"CalcioNapoli24 has claimed Napoli are preparing approaches for Harry Maguire, Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Tom Heaton. All four players are currently scheduled to have their contracts run out this summer.

"Among those mentioned, only Maguire and Casemiro could be regarded as genuinely central to Carrick's strategy this campaign.

"Maguire, 33, is also understood to be in discussions to agree a fresh short-term deal. It's been suggested that the England centre-back could nearly reduce his salary by half to remain at Old Trafford, though the opportunity to begin anew in Naples might prove attractive.

"Napoli are free to negotiate with any of the quartet now that they have entered the final six months of their current contracts."

Palace shortlist Iraola

Crystal Palace could turn to Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola to replace Oliver Glasner, reports The Sun.

Palace are in the hunt for a new boss after Glasner announced that he would leave the club at the end of the campaign.

Iraola guided The Cherries to a ninth-place finish last season.

"Iraola, 43, is out of contract at the end of the season like Glasner, 51, and is expected to leave the south coast club," notes the outlet.

"SunSport understands that Cherries head coach Iraola is among the names being considered by The Eagles as Premier League sides prepare for a summer of managerial merry-go-round.

"Austrian Glasner, who led the club to their first-ever FA Cup triumph, has already made his decision to exit Selhurst Park over the summer public, while Iraola is deemed likely to move as well.

"Fulham‘s out-of-contract Marco Silva is another linked to high-profile jobs and his future is just as uncertain."

Brighton beat Chelsea, Spurs to teenager

Brighton look set to beat Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle to the signing of Cologne teenager Said El Mala.

The left-winger could sign a pre-agreement with Brighton and link up with his new team-mates on the south coast this summer.

The 19-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided three assists so far in the Bundesliga this season.

The Mirror writes: "Brighton are working to secure a potential pre-agreement to sign Cologne winger Said El Mala this summer. Albion have a long-standing interest in the 19-year-old German international and are striving to beat the rush for the player's signature.

"It's understood Brighton saw a discreet and undisclosed approach knocked back by their Bundesliga counterparts for the attacker during the January transfer window.

"A number of clubs from both home and abroad - Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham are among the latest teams credited as admirers - are threatening to muscle in, which has prompted Brighton to intensify their pursuit of El Mala's services.

"His contract with Cologne, who are currently fighting to preserve their Bundesliga status, runs until the summer of 2030 and is not thought to contain a release clause."
