Liverpool consider Olise
Bayern Munich star Michael Olise has been identified by Liverpool as a possible long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, claims a report.
Olise has caught the eye in the Bundesliga since leaving Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, scoring 24 goals and recording 23 assists across 59 games in all competitions.
And, according to the Daily Mail, he could be targeted by the Premier League champions in the near future.
Lewis Steele writes in his Liverpool Confidential column: "As for Michael Olise, I certainly cannot rule that one out.
"They [Liverpool] want a long-term Mohamed Salah replacement in the next summer or two and the early noises are that Bayern Munich's former Crystal Palace star Olise could be right at the top of their shopping list.
"We can’t say too much more than that yet but could be one to watch…"

Bayern tracking Guehi
Bayern Munich have joined the growing list of European clubs trying to sign Marc Guehi, according to the Mirror.
The Crystal Palace captain missed out on a deadline-day deal to Premier League champions Liverpool after The Eagles stepped in to block the move.
Guehi's deal at Selhurst Park will expire next summer, and it seems he will have no shortage of suitors.
The Mirror writes: "German giants Bayern Munich are the latest superpower to keep tabs on developments on the Palace captain who will be a hugely attractive proposition as a free agent next summer.
"Real Madrid and Barcelona are also watching developments and both Spanish giants are very interested.
"Inter Milan and Juventus are also interested in Guehi who will also be aware that, as a free agent, he would be able to command an even bigger contract."

Saudi clubs want Maguire
The Sun reports that Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is a target for two unnamed Saudi Pro League sides.
Maguire is into the last year of his contract at Old Trafford and is free to talk to overseas clubs in January.
"Harry Maguire is a target for two Saudi Arabian clubs," reads the article.
"The Manchester United defender would consider a move but only at the end of this season.
"The transfer window shuts in Saudi Arabia on September 23 but Maguire, 32, has told the teams he will see out the final year of his deal with United.
"Man Utd rejected bids by clubs in both the Premier League and in Italy during the summer for Maguire."

Trossard on way out?
Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas have submitted an offer for Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard.
According to a report in The Sun, the offer is worth £19.1 million and The Gunners are yet to respond.
The summer transfer window in Turkey closes on September 12.
"Arsenal have received a late bid for Leandro Trossard three days after the summer transfer window slammed shut in the UK, reports suggest," reads the article.
"The Gunners can no longer sign any players but can sell to clubs in countries where the market is still open, such as Turkey.
"And that is where this surprise offer arrived from as Besiktas have shown interest in Trossard, 30.
"That is according to Turkish outlet Sozcu Spor, who claim the Istanbul outfit have bid £19.1 million for the winger.
"However, the North Londoners have yet to respond to Besiktas."
