Man Utd receive boost in Davies pursuit

Manchester United are interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies this summer, according to transfer insider Christian Falk.
It is reported that The Red Devils are keen to add competition in the left-back position for Luke Shaw as they plan to push Patrick Dorgu further up the pitch when he returns from injury.
The Premier League giants have received a boost in their bid to sign the 25-year-old as the transfer expert suggested that Bayern would be willing to offload the defender this summer.
The report reads: ”It is true: Manchester United are interested in Alphonso Davies. They were at the table when questions were being asked as to whether he would sign a new contract at Bayern Munich.
"They’re still monitoring this player, but he has since signed a new contract at the Allianz Arena, so it will be difficult to get him at the moment.
"But there are also discussions going on at the club as to whether they need a new back-up player, given all the injuries Davies keeps picking up. Before, they thought they didn’t need a player on the left-hand side because Hiroki Ito can play there as well.
"However, if there were an offer on the table (and don’t forget it cost Bayern a lot of money to extend Davies), there would be a discussion.
"But I can say right now that there has yet to be a concrete offer from Manchester United. If there’s an offer, perhaps Bayern will consider it, as the injuries keep coming.”

Sancho set for Bundesliga reunion

Jadon Sancho looks set for another spell in the Bundesliga, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert claims that Sancho's former employers Borussia Dortmund are once again interested in signing the Manchester United loanee.
The winger has enjoyed two successful spells with Dortmund over the course of his career and could be reunited with his former club once again after his contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season.
"Borussia Dortmund have genuine interest in re-signing Jadon Sancho," Romano wrote on social media.
"He’s leaving Manchester United as a free agent as decided months ago and will assess all proposals.
"Borussia Dortmund are keen, if financial terms can be agreed."

Barca ready to splash the cash this summer

Barcelona are ready to splash around €130 million (£112.5m) on two key positions in the summer transfer window, newspaper Diario Sport reports.
The outlet claims that the reigning La Liga champions have set their sights on two players who would be perfect for the club in these positions: left-back and striker.
The Catalan-based publication reads: "The club is preparing an investment of up to €130m to strengthen these two key positions.
"The names most frequently mentioned in the club's offices are Alessandro Bastoni and Julian Alvarez, the two main targets for these positions.
"Deco and the board greatly value Bastoni's ball distribution, technical quality, and his long-term potential.
"They see him as a centre-back for the next 10 years, a perfect fit for Hansi Flick's possession-based, build-from-the-back style.
"In the forward position, the main target is Alvarez. Barca see him as the ideal successor to Lewandowski due to his versatility, goalscoring ability, and capacity to play in multiple attacking positions."

Ruiz agrees new PSG deal

Fabian Ruiz has verbally agreed a new deal to continue his career at Paris Saint-Germain, according to Diario AS.
The Spaniard's contract with the current European champions will expire next summer, but both parties have reached an agreement for him to extend his stay in the French capital.
The publication reads: "Fabian turns 30 in a few days and has no doubts: he wants to stay at PSG, just as PSG wants him to stay.
"There will be no surprises. The agreement is complete. It's been agreed verbally. The Parisian project is the same as that of the Spanish international, who arrived for €22m - a bargain - when his market value was €55m.
"Four years have passed, and Fabian still has many more titles and goals to achieve."
