Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of midfielder Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old leaves Bayern Munich after just one season and 17 Bundesliga appearances with the club, following his move from Premier League side Fulham.
Tottenham confirmed the deal on their official website, writing: "We are delighted to announce the signing of Joao Palhinha on loan from FC Bayern, subject to international clearance and work permit.
"The 30-year-old Portugal international joins the club on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season with an option to make the move permanent next summer."
The Portugal international has three years left on his contract with Bayern but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Vincent Kompany.
Palhinha becomes Spurs' latest addition of a busy summer window, which has included the arrivals of Mohammed Kudus, Kevin Danso, Mathys Tel, Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai.
Palhinha impressed for Fulham during his two-year spell in the Premier League, having joined The Cottagers from Sporting CP in 2022.
