FULHAM CLOSE IN ON DOUBLE REAL DEAL
Fulham are closing in on a double deal for Real Madrid prospects Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios, with both players undergoing medicals ahead of permanent moves, according to Sky Sports News.
The combined fee for the two transfers is reportedly around £42.3 million, with Garcia set to move for approximately £34 million and Palacios joining in a deal worth around £8.5 million.
Garcia, 22, emerged as Real Madrid's leading scorer at last summer's Club World Cup, while 18-year-old midfielder Palacios made his senior debut for the Spanish giants in January.
Fulham head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has played a key role in driving the deals forward, having worked with both players during his time as part of Real Madrid's first-team staff and academy setup.
The Premier League club are looking to add young talent with significant potential, with Arbeloa using his familiarity with Madrid's development system to help shape Fulham's recruitment strategy.

HAVERTZ SENDS ARSENAL TITLE WARNING
Kai Havertz has warned Arsenal they must reach another level if they are to build on last season's Premier League triumph, insisting the club's ambition is to win every major trophy available.
The Gunners ended a 22-year wait for the league title last season but fell just short of a historic double after losing the Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties, despite Havertz scoring in the final.
The Germany international believes that disappointment has only increased Arsenal's hunger ahead of the new campaign.
"We want all the trophies," he said. "That's what we're here for. We won the Premier League now, but there's a lot more that we can do."
"We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again."

Arsenal face a tougher challenge this season, with rivals strengthening significantly, but Havertz believes the squad must respond by improving further.
"I think we can, or we have to go further," Havertz added.
"You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that's what we're all here for, that's what we train for."
"We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again."

TIGERS' HERRINGTON BREAKTHROUGH
Hull City have reached an agreement with Colorado Rapids for the transfer of 18-year-old Australia defender Lucas Herrington, according to The Athletic.
The newly promoted Premier League club will pay an initial fee of around £12.6 million with a further £4.4m available in add-ons. Colorado Rapids will retain a 15% share of any future sale profit.
The deal represents a major investment in one of Australia's most promising young defenders, with Hull moving quickly to secure Herrington as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.

EURO TRANSFER NEWS - IS SALAH HEADING TO TURKEY?
Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan has dismissed reports linking the Turkish club with a move for Mohamed Salah, insisting there is no agreement in place despite growing speculation surrounding the Egypt international's future.
Rumours gathered pace over the weekend after French outlet Foot Mercato reported that Trabzonspor were close to hijacking Besiktas' proposed deal for the former Liverpool forward.
The speculation intensified ahead of the club's 59th anniversary celebrations, with social media claims suggesting Salah could even be unveiled on Sunday.
Dogan, however, moved quickly to quash the reports, rejecting both the suggestion that an agreement had been reached and claims that Salah was set to travel to Trabzon.

CHELSEA CONFIRM BARCO ARRIVAL
It has been known for a period of time, but Chelsea have now announced the arrival of Valentin Barco from Strasbourg until June 2033.
The 22-year-old Argentina international, who previously made six Premier League appearances for Brighton, joins following Marc Cucurella's departure to Real Madrid earlier this summer.
The defender arrives as a replacement for Cucurella, with the club moving quickly to strengthen their squad after losing the Spanish left-back.

COULD KOVACIC RETURN TO INTER?
Mateo Kovacic's potential return to Inter has resurfaced, although the Nerazzurri would need to complete player sales before making a move for the Manchester City midfielder, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The report claims Kovacic remains open to a return to San Siro after reconnecting with former teammates and staff during Manchester City's pre-season friendly against Inter in Hong Kong.
Inter shared footage of the 32-year-old Croatia international speaking with compatriot Petar Sucic and greeting Federico Dimarco and assistant coach Aleksandar Kolarov, further fuelling speculation over a possible reunion.
The latest report claims Kovacic's representatives have already sounded out Inter over a possible return, but the club have made it clear that departures would need to happen before a deal could be considered.
Inter are looking to create space in midfield, with exits for Kristjan Asllani and Davide Frattesi among the possibilities, although neither transfer has been completed.
Kovacic previously spent two seasons at Inter between 2013 and 2015 after joining from Dinamo Zagreb for €11 million. He went on to sign for Real Madrid in a €38 million deal before moving to Chelsea and later Manchester City.
The Croatia international is entering the final year of his contract at Manchester City and is seeking clarity over his future, with a return to Inter now being discussed.

INTER MIAMI REIGNITE DE BRUYNE CHASE
Inter Miami have renewed their interest in signing Kevin De Bruyne, with the Belgian midfielder increasingly open to a move to Major League Soccer, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The report says the MLS club have stepped up their pursuit of the 35-year-old as co-owner David Beckham continues his efforts to strengthen a squad already featuring Lionel Messi.
De Bruyne joined Napoli after leaving Manchester City but is now reportedly considering a move to the United States, with Inter Miami viewed as his most likely destination if he leaves the Serie A club.
According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Inter Miami and San Diego FC both expressed interest in De Bruyne in June 2025 and held talks with the midfielder before he opted to continue his career in Italy.

Opportunistic De Bruyne slots home as Napoli run riot

Inter Miami are understood to hold De Bruyne's MLS discovery rights, giving them the first opportunity to negotiate with the Belgium international should he decide to move to the league. Chicago Fire, New York City FC and D.C. United have also been linked with the midfielder, but Miami's discovery rights place them in a strong position.
De Bruyne remains under contract with Napoli, and any move would require an agreement with the Italian club as well as a financial package capable of meeting the veteran playmaker's salary demands.

Paris Saint-Germain have made a bid in the region of €45 million (£38.4m) to Ajax for Mika Godts.
Fabrizio Romano reports this is close to Ajax's €60 million (£51.3m) valuation of the Belgian.
