Anthony Kim has told TNT Sports that he is ready to put in the work in a bid to play his way into the majors.
Kim returned from over a decade in the golfing wilderness to sign up for LIV Golf, and he secured his first victory since 2010 when producing a blistering final round at LIV Golf Adelaide.
With LIV Golf now eligible for ranking points, Kim’s win lifted him from 847 to 203 in the world.
Kim would need to climb a lot higher to play his way into the majors, with the US Open and Masters offering invites to those inside the top 50.
The American has spoken of his desire to return to the elite level of the game, but feels it could be another year before he puts himself in contention for the majors.
"I mean, obviously you know, anytime you can get to Augusta, it's an amazing accomplishment and a great place to go," Kim told TNT Sports about the prospect of playing at the Masters.

"But you know, I just have to keep playing well. If my time's next year or two years from now, I'd be happy to go anytime. But obviously I feel like I need to put in some work, and I'm willing to do that."
Kim followed up his win in Adelaide with a tied-31st at LIV Golf Hong Kong.
And in what is the second week of LIV Golf in a row, Kim made a solid start to the Singapore leg as he sits two shots off the lead at Sentosa after a round of 69.

Westwood comfortable in conditions
The sentiment of many players at the end of their rounds in Singapore was that the course was baring its teeth.
Lee Westwood worked his way into a share of the lead after an opening 67, and said it was a challenge.
"The golf course is taking no prisoners," Westwood said. "It is tough, even without this breeze blowing.
"It has got a bit firmer than yesterday. You have got to hit fairways to get some control on the golf ball. The greens are firm and very fast, and I found it hard to get close to the hole.
"I hit some really good shots out there. I was hitting some good putts, but they are so fast. These are some of the fastest greens I have ever played on in Asia."
The temperature was in the high 30s, but Westwood said the heat was not a worry for him.

"This is not hot for Singapore," Westwood said. "The wind is keeping it cool. I’ve felt it a lot hotter than this. I felt quite comfortable out there today. You have got to keep drinking.
"I have been coming here a long time and trust me, it gets a lot hotter than this."
Westwood is battling with a wrist problem, and will limit his time on the range.
"With my wrist injury, my tendon, I am very limited to how many balls I can hit anyway, so I probably won’t hit any balls this afternoon," Westwood said.
