Anthony Kim snapped a barren run stretching back 16 years with his victory at LIV Golf Adelaide earlier in the season. The win broke the shackles for the American and Oliver Wilson said on TNT Sports' coverage of the action from Steyn City in South Africa that he expects the 40-year-old to be a regular feature at the top of the leaderboards in 2026.

Anthony Kim has been described as "relentless" and will be contending for titles throughout the 2026 LIV Golf season.
Kim returned from years in the golfing wilderness and completed his redemption story with victory at LIV Golf Adelaide.
The American followed his win in Australia with a tied 31st in Hong Kong and a tied 17th in Singapore.
He is back in the saddle again at Steyn City for LIV Golf South Africa, and Oliver Wilson feels Kim will be battling at the top of the leaderboard for the remainder of the season.
Wilson played against Kim earlier in their careers, and feels the 40-year-old has brought maturity to his game in 2026.
"He has been playing very solidly," Wilson said on TNT Sports’ coverage of the first round of LIV Golf South Africa.
"He looks like the Anthony Kim that I knew back in 2009, but he has got a bit more patience and experience, and much more appreciative of the opportunity that he has.

"He looks really solid and really relentless. I expect him to get into contention plenty more times this year."
Kim has spoken openly about his battle with addiction. He said victory in Adelaide helped him overcome his struggles.
"I don’t want to downplay that it felt surreal," Kim told TNT Sports. "I did not want to wake up and think that this is a dream. Every putt that went in, I felt the struggle and I was overcoming it."

Kim’s daughter joined him on the course in celebration in Adelaide, and it is a moment he will cherish.
"To be able to share this moment, even though Bella won’t understand it, for her to run on the green and see her dad is not a loser is one of the most special moments of my life," Kim said.
"I am a recovering addict, and now I think I am addicted to making that happen again. Nothing is going to stop me working to get to that point again."
Kim returned to the sport when he joined LIV Golf in 2024, and he has worked hard to get his game in competitive shape after overcoming "a lot of bad decisions".

"It wasn't about golf," Kim said. "It was about setting goals, being resilient and overcoming obstacles in your life.
"To my own fault, I made a lot of bad decisions. But the only way I can overcome that is by just dealing with it and hitting it head on.
"It's been amazing, the love and support I've gotten. I'm motivated by negativity, so it's been very weird.
"But I feel like a lot of people saw their own families, their own struggles in me, and I think that's why it got kind of the reception that it did."
