Team GB's Georgia Hall and Charley Hull find themselves way off the pace in the women's golf at Paris 2024, with both finishing day two over par.
Hall started the second round at Le Golf National placed in joint-22nd position at two-over, and shot 74 for the second day in a row to slide down the leaderboard into 36th on four-over.
Hull, Hall's Solheim Cup team-mate, had an even worse opening round on Wednesday, finding herself fourth-bottom having shot nine-over on the par-72 course.
However, Hull, making her second Olympic appearance after placing seventh in Rio, recovered slightly on day two. Hull got to three-under for the day after 17 holes but dumped two balls in the water on 18 to drop to eight-over.
The biggest talking point of the day was Celine Boutier, the French home favourite, who led the rankings at the end of the first day, seven-under and three shots clear of Ashleigh Buhai, the South African.
Boutier, the 2023 Evian Championship winner, collapsed following her strong opening round, dropping down to tied sixth on the leaderboard on three-under after shooting four-over for the day to record a 76.

Four players were tied for third on two-under at the start of play, but the leaderboard stretched itself out on a dramatic day in Paris.
The Swiss player Morgane Metraux produeced a stunning 66 to move into top spot on eight-under, while reigning champion Nelly Korda, the two-time major winner, had slipped into second on six-under until disaster struck on the 16th, where she carded a quadruple bogey to plummet back down into a tie for 12th on two-under.
Korda's tee shot flew into the water, before her second ball landed in the bunker, and she missed a putt for a triple bogey to give up four shots.
She ended the day on two-under, six shots off Metraux, and three shots shy of a medal, where Lydia Ko, playing in her third straight Games, sits in bronze-medal position.
New Zealand's Ko, the two-time Olympic medallist, is two shots off Ruoning Yin, the Chinese player, who is in solo second.
Mariajo Uribe, the retiring Colombian, is also in medal contention in tied fourth - along with Slovenian Pia Babnik - as she shot 70 for the second day in a row to sit at four-under.
