Jiri Prochazka vowed to ”find a way to end” Carlos Ulberg in their fight for the vacant light heavyweight title at UFC 327 on Saturday, live on TNT Sports and HBO Max. The Czech fighter, who is an MMA 38-fight veteran, is looking to reclaim the light heavyweight crown, in the wake of UFC icon Alex Pereira moving up to the heavyweight division to fight Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250.

Jiri Prochazka vowed to ”find a way to end” Carlos Ulberg in their fight for the vacant light heavyweight title at UFC 327.
Prochazka, an MMA veteran with a record of 32 wins and just five losses, insisted his bout with Ulberg - which is live on TNT Sports and HBO Max - won’t go the distance.
”I believe I will win,” Prochazka told TNT Sports. ”I’m going to win by knockout sooner or later. I will find a space, I will find a way to end him. That’s all.
”Even if the fight is on the ground, I’m ready. I’m ready for everything.
”His most dangerous [trait] is his patience. He’s a patient fighter, he knows how to wait for his moment in the fight. But I like the pressure, I like the pressure.
”He’s shown many times in his earlier fights that he doesn’t like the pressure. With his last opponents he was waiting for his moment. This is something that is in his nature. You can’t change the nature of how someone works.”
Prochazka is targeting the light heavyweight title, having missed out on reclaiming the belt in a pair of round two knock-out defeats to UFC icon Alex Pereira in 2023 and 2024.

With Pereira moving up to heavyweight to fight Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250, Prochazka is looking to become division champion for the first time since 2022.
”There were a lot of things that I learned [against Pereira] in my personal life,” the Czech fighter said. ”I don’t want to speak too much, but I learned a lot.
”How to change my preparation, the people around me and all these small details before the fight.
"This is what I have changed, and of course, in the fight you need to be patient. Alex is the master of patience, to wait for his moment.
”That was a big learning experience for me. Also being precise. Being precise in every small detail. That was another big learning experience.
Ulberg, meanwhile, appears to have missed out on his opportunity to face the Brazilian.
"Pereira would have definitely been the fight,” the 35-year-old New Zealander told TNT Sports.
"He’s the man right now. If you want to be the best you’ve got to beat the best. That’s what it comes down to. I’ve always wanted to fight the best.
”He was dominating the division for a long time and with the wins that he had got, with the success that he had got, I definitely wanted to fight him.”
