Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales sign Red Bull KTM Tech3 deals

Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales have been confirmed as the riders for the rebranded Red Bull KTM Tech3 team for the 2025 MotoGP season.

There have been plenty of changes on the grid ahead of the 2025 season, with Red Bull KTM Tech3 snapping up Bastianini and Vinales.

They will ride full-factory KTM RC16 bikes, backing up Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta who will make up the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.

Both Bastianini and Vinales have signed multi-year deals with the team.

"We are delighted to announce that Enea and Maverick will be with us next year as we convert back to KTM,” Red Bull Tech3 Racing MotoGP team manager Nicolas Goyon said. “We cannot forget our first MotoGP wins were taken in orange. 

“We are proud that these two talented riders have decided to ride our bikes. It shows we’ve followed the right road, and our technology can fight at the front for the championship. 

“We would like to thank Pierer Mobility AG for the quality of their support. Our collaboration has reached the top level this year and I’m sure it will keep growing in the future. 

“We’d also like to thank Red Bull for their dedication with us. 

“We have a clear commitment towards victory and that’s why Enea and Maverick have decided to join the programme.”

Bastianini signed his deal on the back of a second-placed finish at the Italian Grand Prix, a race Vinales came home in eighth.

The second-placed finish on his Ducati left Bastianini in fourth in the championship standings, 57 points adrift of leader Jorge Martin.

Vinales, who is riding an Aprilla in the current campaign, sits in sixth on 100 points, 71 behind Martin.
