Gloucester Rugby will kick off the weekend’s action against Sale Sharks at Kingsholm, knowing that a win would boost their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions Cup.
The Cherry and Whites have a five-point buffer on Harlequins and will hope to extend the gap ahead of Jason Gilmore’s side's encounter with 10th-placed Newcastle Red Bulls on Sunday.
At the other end of the table, Leicester Tigers take on fierce rivals Northampton Saints at Welford Road on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Bristol Bears will need to overcome an injury crisis before this weekend’s scrap with Saracens, as both teams battle to keep their play-off hopes alive by reeling in fourth-placed Exeter Chiefs.
Exeter will face reigning PREM champions Bath at Sandy Park, with the former looking to consolidate a play-off place after being knocked out of Europe in the week.
