World Snooker Championship 2026 live comments and streaming details. World No. 1 Judd Trump resumed his second-round match against Hossein Vafaei and ended the session with a 9-7 lead, while Neil Robertson pulled away from Chris Wakelin and will hold a 10-6 advantage when the match resumes on Monday.

Trump and Robertson take control of matches
Judd Trump was twice behind on Sunday afternoon, but he won the last three frames to take a 9-7 lead over Hossein Vafaei, while Neil Robertson needs just three more to reach the third round, holding a 10-6 advantage of Chris Wakelin.
After Vafaei won a scrappy opener, efforts of 65 and 76 put Trump in front in the contest, but his Iranian opponent remained composed and won frames either side of the interval with breaks of 82 and 65.
Trump then upped his game, making the first century of the match (exactly 100) and following up with a 74 and 94 to ensure he holds a two-frame advantage when the pair resume hostilities on Monday evening.
Robertson won three of the four before the mid-session interval and then, after Wakelin pulled one back, won the last three culminating in a 101-break, his first of the match and 89th at The Crucible.

Wakelin 6-10 Robertson
The pair will resume tomorrow evening, with Robertson needing three more frames to secure victory.

With the frame in the bag, Robertson will now look to secure his first century of the match - and 89th at The Crucible.

Robertson won the first two but Wakelin has pulled one back with an impressive break to secure his first frame of the afternoon.

An intriguing start to this session. Vafaei is playing confidently and Trump will have to find better form to take a lead into the third session.

Vafaei missed a chance to pot the blue and, a couple of safeties later, his cue ball caught the middle jaw giving trump the chance to sink the sealer.

A good break from Vafaei in the circumstances but it ended when he tried to rocket a cut into the bottom-right pocket, only succeeding in going in off into the middle pocket. Trump makes a good pot to start his response.

Both our games this afternoon are level at this stage, so this session will likely be crucial as to whether the two slick left-handed favourites will go into the third round.
Wakelin won the last three frames to get level at this stage, while Vafaei won three straight to take the lead before Trump's 115-break brought things level going into today.
