The best players in the world will descend on York to battle it out for the 2024 UK Championship. Ronnie O’Sullivan defeated Ding Junhui to win the event for a record eighth time 12 months ago. Elsewhere, the likes of Mark Williams and Judd Trump will be expected to challenge at the highly anticipated first Triple Crown event of the snooker season.

Following an enthralling Champion of Champions, the World Snooker Tour heads to the iconic Barbican in York for the 2024 UK Championship.
Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Ding Junhui 10-7 in last year's final but saw his title defence ended in the first round by Barry Hawkins.
Mark Williams looked back to his best during his run to the Champion of Champions crown and even gave himself credit for still being able to mix it with the young guns of the sport, while world No. 1 Judd Trump can never be written off.
Elsewhere, world champion Kyren Wilson has impressed so far this season, as have Chinese duo Ding and Xiao Guodong.

The UK Championship started on Saturday, November 23 and finishes on Sunday, December 1 when the winner will be crowned.

The Barbican in York, which has become the tournament's home, will play host to the best players in the world for the 19th time.
