The quarter-finals of the French Open get underway on Tuesday with the wide-open men's and women's draws entering their business ends at Roland-Garros in Paris.

Four key matches will take place on Court Philippe-Chatrier, each featuring players who are eyeing their first Grand Slam titles in Paris.
Rafael Jodar's rise has been one of the most intriguing storylines on the men's tour in recent months, and he has the chance to continue his fairytale run at Roland-Garros, but faces his toughest test thus far.
The 19-year-old will go head-to-head with world No. 3 Alexander Zverev, the favourite to win the title, in a fascinating battle on the Paris showcourt.
On the match, TNT Sports expert Tim Henman said: ”It’s another brilliant match-up. There’s been so much unpredictability in this draw so far and Zverev has been able to avoid any upsets.
"Jodar, obviously coming back from two sets down against his fellow countryman [Pablo] Carreno Busta is another incredible performance, through to his first Grand Slam quarter-final.
"Two very different players coming from different positions. Obviously, vast experience with Zverev and a first time for Jodar.”

In a battle between two of the sport's most exciting youngsters, Joao Fonseca - who conquered Novak Djokovic in the third round - will face Jakub Mensik in the evening session.
Fonseca's ardent supporters have been waiting for the teenager to truly break out with a deep run at a major tournament, and he is delivering in Paris - knocking out former runner-up Casper Ruud in the fourth round.

He has played some explosive tennis thus far, but Mensik represents a stern challenge - the Czech is considered among the most talented young players on tour. He was the last player to beat world No. 1 Jannik Sinner prior to the Italian's French Open exit.
Meanwhile, Marta Kostyuk and Elina Svitolina will play out an all-Ukrainian tie, pitting two of the most in-form players in the world against one another.

Kostyuk beat four-time champion Iga Swiatek to reach this stage and is undefeated on clay this year, while Svitolina entered the tournament off the back of winning the Italian Open.
Mirra Andreeva faces Sorana Cirstea - who is blossoming in her final season before retirement - in the first match of the day on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
When is Jodar v Zverev?
Jodar and Zverev will go head-to-head in the third match of the day on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
The pair have yet to face one another, and so their battle will be an intriguing one, with Jodar having played significantly more tennis than his counterpart in Paris thus far, but Zverev weighted down by the pressure of expectation that he will lift the trophy come Sunday.

When is Fonseca v Mensik?
Fonseca faces Mensik in the headline evening session on Court Philippe-Chatrier. Play is expected to get underway at around 19:15 BST.
Fonseca triumphed in their only prior meeting. That came in the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2024.
The pair were due to meet in the last 16 of Swiss Indoors in Basel last year, but Fonseca received a walkover due to Mensik withdrawing.
