SHNAIDER REACTS TO 'SUPER SPECIAL WIN'

”Honestly I’m speechless, super happy, you know. Obviously today it was a little tough conditions.

”First time playing Aryna so super nervous and obviously quarter finals for first time so a lot of nerves.”

She added: ”Definitely a super special win.”

Shnaider has made her best career result in a Grand Slam event, becoming the third Women’s Singles Major semi-finalist among players born since 2004 along with Mirra Andreeva (born in 2007) and Coco Gauff (2004).
Shnaider is the fourth player since the WTA Rankings were published in 1975 to claim a GS third-set 6-0 against the World No. 1 after Steffi Graf (RG 1995), Serena Williams (AO 2005) and Maria Sharapova (US Open 2006).
