Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz will each be vying for a spot in the 2025 French Open semi-finals as they take to Court Philippe-Chatrier on Tuesday.

The top three seeds on each side of the draw have yet to falter, and the 10th day of action in Paris is set to host two of the heavy favourites to lift the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen come Saturday.

Swiatek, the No. 5 seed after difficult preparations for the clay major, secured her 25th consecutive win in the Slam as she downed Elena Rybakina to secure her quarter-final spot. The Pole is bidding for a fourth French Open triumph in succession - a fifth overall.

Tuesday's matches could have tantalising consequences. Perhaps the only player that clay-master Swiatek may fear is world No. 1 Sabalenka, who would be her opponent should both triumph in the quarter-final ties.

Meanwhile, 2024 men's champion Alcaraz will surely entertain in the evening session, taking on Tommy Paul, who, alongside Frances Tiafoe, maintains the US representation in the men's draw.

When does Carlos Alcaraz play?

The Spaniard will continue his search for a fifth Grand Slam in front of the Chatrier crowd which will surely be packed to the rafters for its evening session.

In the fourth match of the day on the showcase court, Alcaraz will hope he can set up a semi-final clash against Lorenzo Musetti or Tiafoe, but must conquer No. 12 seed Paul, who stands in his way.

Defending champion Alcaraz sent Paul's compatriot, Ben Shelton, out of the tournament in the fourth round. Paul, meanwhile, romped past Alexei Popyrin to take his first straight-set victory of the tournament.

When does Iga Swiatek play?

Elina Svitolina stands in Swiatek's way of a potential semi-final date with Sabalenka. The Ukrainian, though, will feel more than confident she can spring a surprise, having got past world No. 4 Jasmine Paolini to reach the final eight.

Swiatek and Svitolina will face off in the second match of the day on Chatrier.

The pair have enjoyed similarly dominant runs in Paris so far this year, each dropping just one set - coincidentally in their third-round matches. Both made pretty light work of their early-round opponents and have set up an intriguing quarter-final battle.

When does Aryna Sabalenka play?

Looking to add a first French Open title to her armoury, Sabalenka will make her 10th consecutive Grand Slam quarter-final appearance on Tuesday, becoming the first player to record the feat since Serena Williams between 2014 and 2017.

Sabalenka will take on Zheng Qinwen in the first match of the day on Court Philippe-Chatrier, set to commence at 11:00 local time (10:00 UK time).

The No. 1 seed has been emphatic in her run to the quarter-final, winning each of her four matches in straight sets. Memories of her Italian Open quarter-final defeat to Tuesday's opponent less than three weeks ago will surely be on her mind.
