Nick Kyrgios' summer schedule is taking shape, with the Australian set for a return to the French Open. Kyrgios, who recently turned 30, will be playing on the clay at Roland-Garros for the first time since 2017. He is then set to play Stuttgart and a busy grass schedule as he builds up to Wimbledon, where he lost in the final in 2022 against Novak Djokovic.

Nick Kyrgios will make his return to the French Open for the first time since 2017.
The 30-year-old is back on tour this season following an extended period away due to wrist and knee surgeries.
His last appearance was in March in Miami, where he beat Mackenzie McDonald to earn his first singles win since October 2022.
He hasn’t yet played on clay this year, but will get on the red dirt at the French Open as he teams up with fellow Aussie Jordan Thompson in the doubles.
Thompson is world No. 11 in the doubles rankings but has been switching partners this year after Max Purcell, his regular partner in 2024, was given an 18-month ban for breaching anti-doping rules.
Kyrgios and Thompson played together at the 2017 French Open, making the last 16, and were runners-up in the boys’ doubles at the 2012 US Open.
Kyrgios, who also won the 2022 Australian Open doubles alongside Thanasi Kokkinakis, says he is looking forward to having "a bit of fun" at Roland-Garros.

"The French Open was never really on the cards, but after the stuff with Max Purcell, Jordan was looking for a partner and he asked me if I wanted to play," Kyrgios told The Canberra Times.Â
"We played at the French Open before, so it'll be good to get out there and play with another fellow Aussie and have a bit of fun."
Kyrgios set for busy grass schedule
Kyrgios will make his singles return soon after the French Open as he has entered the grass-court Stuttgart Open.
The ATP 250 event starts on June 9 and Kyrgios will be using his protected ranking to compete.
Kyrgios could then also play at Queen’s (June 16) and the Mallorca Championships (June 22) ahead of Wimbledon (June 30).
Kyrgios reached the final of Wimbledon in 2022, losing to Novak Djokovic in four sets.
"I'm excited to get out there and play," Kyrgios said. "We put a lot of work in - myself, [physiotherapist] Will [Maher], and the team. I feel good.
"Me and [coach] James [Frawley] have been on the court pretty much every single day. I'm hitting the ball well, it's just a matter of playing matches.Â
"With this part of my career I'm excited to travel the world and do some fun things whilst I'm out there."
Having turned 30 in April and given his recent injury history, Kyrgios’ long-term future in the game looks uncertain. However, he says he isn’t thinking about drawing the curtain on his career yet.
"I don't want to speak it into existence [retirement], but I strongly believe I've done the work for my wrist to hold up," Kyrgios said.
"I'm towards the later stages of my career, for sure. I think with this injury, win or lose, it's just a bonus being out there."
