Novak Djokovic has cancelled a training session ahead of his Wimbledon semi-final against world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. The 38-year-old appeared to suffer an injury during his semi-final victory against Flavio Cobolli. The training session was reportedly pushed back to 3pm on Thursday before being cancelled. The winner of the semi-final will face Carlos Alcaraz or Taylor Fritz.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion appeared to suffer an injury during his quarter-final triumph over Flavio Cobolli on Wednesday.

Djokovic's Thursday training session was initially pushed back to 3pm before being cancelled completely, according to reports.

The Serbian star is hoping to win a record 25th Grand Slam this week, but he admitted that his body is not what it was during his post-match press conference following the win against Cobolli.

"It was a nasty fall," he said.

"It was very awkward.

"Obviously, my body is not the same today like it was before, so I guess the real impact or effect of what happened I will feel tomorrow.

"I’m hoping the next 24, 48 hours that the severity of what was happening on the court and what happened is not too bad, that I’ll be able to play at my best and free of pain in two days.

"Sometimes I get tired of all the chores that I have to do on a daily basis to get my body ready to be able to perform.

"It’s a lot of hours spent off the court, in the gym or on the table just trying to work with what I have.

"Physically, I hope that I’ll be able to sustain that.

"That’s more of a concern.

"I think game-wise, the way I’m feeling the ball when I’m fit and ready, I feel like I can go toe to toe with those guys and even beat them if I’m playing my best."

The winner of the clash between Djokovic and Sinner will face one of Carlos Alcaraz or Taylor Fritz in Sunday's final.

The Italian beat the former world No. 1 in the semi-finals of the 2025 French Open earlier this year.

However, Djokovic has a better record on grass than clay, boasting seven Wimbledon triumphs during his illustrious career.
