Nikola Jokic launched a one-handed, one-footed first-half buzzer-beater in the Denver Nuggets' 129-93 win over the Utah Jazz. Many believe the Serbian is playing basketball on a different level to the rest of the NBA, and reaffirmed his Most Valuable Player (MVP) credentials with 27 points and 14 rebounds on Friday night as they close in on the second-seed Houston Rockets.

Nikola Jokic had 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Denver Nuggets beat the Utah Jazz 129-93 to maintain their hold on the third seed in the Western Conference.
The Serbian star picked up 19 points and 13 rebounds in the first half, and closed out the second quarter with an insanely casual 62-foot buzzer-beater that is rightly going viral on social media.
Jokic is one of the few players in the NBA who overlooks his shooting percentages to hurl heaves at the end of the quarter, and against the Jazz he was rewarded for doing so once again.
With the Nuggets holding a 54-47 lead heading into half-time, Jokic displayed his circus-like skill, making a legitimate Euro step and launching the ball with one hand from beyond half-court to beat the first-half buzzer.
With his trademark laid-back demeanour, the centre barely celebrated his own shot while the entire crowd in Denver erupted.
Jokic has now made two shots from at least 60 feet this season.
With these two makes, he joins Steph Curry as the only two players in NBA history to land two heaves from at least 60 feet in one season.
Besides draining another half-court shot, he made history in another way as he became the fastest player in NBA history to reach 16,000 points, 8,000 rebounds and 5,000 assists.
He did so in 739 games, beating the previous fastest player Larry Bird, who reached that milestone in 799 games.
The Nuggets' win saw them pad their hold on the third seed in the Western Conference to extend their lead over the Los Angeles Lakers and Memphis Grizzlies.
Jokic is averaging a triple-double this season as he and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander battle for the MVP award, setting the pace for the rest of the league.
