Marianne Vos (Visma-Lease a Bike) returns to the podium in the third monument having finished fourth in the past two editions, whilst the defending champion Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma-Lease a Bike) claims third.

Franziska Koch (FDJ United-SUEZ) claims the biggest victory of her careeer as she pipped Marianne Vos (Visma-Lease a Bike) to claim the third Monument.

Defending champion Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma-Lease a Bike) completed the podium, with 2024 winner Lotte Kopecky and Megan Jastrab finishing 1'30" behind.

This looks to be our podium right here as the breakaway trio holds a gap of over 1'13" heading into our penultimate sector.

Pauline Ferrand-Prevot has been doing everything in her power to secure victory for her Visma-Lease a Bike teammate Marianne Vos, but will Franziska Koch (FDJ United-SUEZ) spoil the party?

Marianne Vos (Visma-Lease a Bike) goes on the attack, but quickly takes her foot off the gas as Franziska Koch continues to follow with ease.

Elsewhere, in the chasing group, we see 2024 champion Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx-Protime) trying to bring the gap back with Megan Jastrab (UAE Team ADQ) and a nasty crash for Lucinda Brand (Lidl-Trek), who appears to be caught by a spectator on the sidelines whilst navigating the cobbles.

17.1KM TO GO: SECTOR 4 CARREFOUR DE L’ARBRE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our last five star sector of today's race and it's Koch again trying to attack, with Pauline Ferrand-Prevot doing everything to say within touching distance of the duo.

This was the sector which saw the defending champion break free and ride to victory last year and she's just about managing to hold the wheel.

Koch attacks again as the breakaway head into sector 5, with Vos able to follow.

The defending champion is distanced again as the German champion (FDJ United-SUEZ) is throwing everything at this to break up the Visma-Lease a Bike duo.

Vos is collected by the chase group, who sit 1'10" behind.

The German champion Franziska Koch (FDJ United-SUEZ) attacks and forces the reaction from Marianne Vos (Visma-Lease a Bike).

As a result, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma-Lease a Bike) and Blanka Vas (SD Worx-Protime) are distanced.

Ferrand-Prevot returns but it looks like the call has been made with Vas seemingly not feeling great, with Lorena Wiebes attacking over Sector 6 (Bourghelles Wannehain ***)

Unfortunately, we've just heard from the commentary team that Elisa Balsamo (Lidl-Trek) has been to forced to abandon. A real shame for Lidl-Trek and the Italian, who was so close to the top of the podium in 2024.

The gap is growing in one direction and it's advantage breakaway as we head into Sector 7, with a gap of 1'26".

SD Worx-Protime continue to lead the chase.

The quartet's advantage reaches over a minute with the front group working well together, though it is largely the defending champion Ferrand-Prevot controlling things.

Can the group of 19 chasers bring this one back or has Pauline Ferrand-Prevot's work paid off for her Visma-Lease a Bike teammate Marianne Vos?

Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (SD Worx-Protime) is controlling things at the front and has single-handedly grown the breakaway's advantage to 54 seconds.

Interestingly, it's SD Worx-Protime working at the front of the chase group despite having Blanka Vas in the four-rider breakaway, with Lotte Kopecky and Lorena Wiebes among the favourites.

Zoe Backstedt (Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto) moves to the front as the chase group head into Sector 9 and nearly overcooks the corner, causing the Brit to throw in some cyclocross skills to avoid a crash.

The breakaway's advantage has steadied to 38" with Pauline Ferrand-Prevot (Visma-Lease a Bike) trying to encourage the likes of Vas (SD Worx-Protime) and Franziska Koch (FDJ United-SUEZ) to work with her and Vos (Visma-Lease a Bike).

The Irish champion slips as the chase group exits Sector 10, causing the likes of Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) to briefly stop as the breakaway's advantage grows to 37".

Lotte Kopecky and Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime), Elise Chabbey (FDJ United-SUEZ) and Zoe Backstedt (Canyon-SRAM zondacrypto) are among those heading up the chase.
