Tadej Pogacar further established himself as one of the great modern riders with his fourth Tour de France title. Attention will soon turn to the Vuelta a Espana, which begins in August, but Pogacar has not yet confirmed whether he will take part. He said after the final stage of the Tour de France that he intends to "take a week off" and "enjoy some summer days".

Tour de France 2025 winner Tadej Pogacar said he will take a week off to relax before deciding whether to ride at the Vuelta a Espana next month.
The UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider sealed his fourth Tour de France title in emphatic fashion, finishing 4'24" ahead of Jones Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike) in the general classification.
And Pogacar admitted he is looking forward to some "summer days" after a gruelling Tour.
"Let's take one week easy now," he said. "I want to enjoy some summer days.
"We were training so many times for heat adaptation and in the end the Tour was not so hot, so I want some hot days now, but without the suffering on the bike.
"Let's take a week off and see from then on."

Pogacar, who suffered with cold-like symptoms at one stage of the Tour, said last week that he was looking forward to the finish.
But after Sunday's finale, he claimed he "enjoyed" the experience.
"In the end I'm super happy that it's over, but I must say that I quite enjoyed the whole Tour," he said. "I will maybe miss it already next week.
"It was a pleasure to be here and to wear this yellow jersey, to ride with team-mates and fight against all the opponents - it was a great, great tour."
Pogacar came close to a stage win in Paris, but he was beaten to the line by Visma's Wout van Aert, who attacked towards the summit of Montmartre and pulled clear.
"In the end [it] was a nice race," Pogacar added. "It was great from the organisers to neutralise the GC times, so nobody had to risk anything, and it was fair play in the end.
"I gave it a go because I was in front, but Wout was incredibly strong today. He did an amazing attack on the top of the climb and he deserved this big, big win."

On yet another Tour de France triumph, Pogacar said: "I’m just speechless with my fourth win in the Tour de France. It’s six years in a row on the podium and this one feels especially amazing. I’m super proud that I can wear this yellow jersey.
"It’s hard to say how and where I won this Tour. It starts with how we race with the team, with a great atmosphere, a great spirit.
"We went fighting from day one and after Stage 5, and [then] Mur-de-Bretagne, I knew I had good legs to compete for the victory.
"We just kept on fighting and then I think the second week was the decisive moment, taking more advantage. We went more comfortably into the third week.
"Now is time to celebrate. Everybody has different ideas about how to celebrate. I want some peace and beautiful weather, enjoying some quiet days at home."
With Pogacar's great rival Vingegaard also set to ride the Vuelta, cycling fans could be treated to an unexpected second episode of the pair's Grand Tour duopoly in 2025, with all the action set to be shown live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
