Some of Europe's greatest clubs go head-to-head this week in a bid to book their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The second legs of the play-offs are the last chance for the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to keep their hopes of glory alive.

Haaland training ahead of Madrid clash

Manchester City have been given a huge boost ahead of their must-win second leg against Real Madrid.

Erling Haaland suffered an injury scare during his side's Premier League triumph over Newcastle United.

However, Pep Guardiola is optimistic that the striker will be fit to play at the Bernabeu.

"When he was down, everyone was scared," said Guardiola. "He got up, walked smiling like always. I didn't speak to him but the doctors didn't come for bad news. Hopefully [he will be fine for Madrid]."

madrid get Rudiger injury boost

Real Madrid have been given an injury boost ahead of the crucial second leg against Manchester City as Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that c is fit enough to start Wednesday's game.

"Rudiger can play from the start, [Aurelien] Tchouameni can play as a pivot and [Raul] Asencio can play as a centre-back," he said.

"We will see how [Federico] Valverde is, who was injured against Osasuna. Raul can also play as a right-back.

"Lucas Vazquez will be on the bench, but he has not yet completed his recovery plan."

Vazquez is a doubt for the match and David Alaba could miss out, and it is highly unlikely that Dani Carvajal will feature due to a knee injury.

He is joined on Madrid's injury list by fellow defender Eder Militao.

Kane a doubt for Bayern

England striker Harry Kane could be out for Bayern Munich's match with Celtic at Allianz Arena.

The German giants are 2-1 up on aggregate, but they may be without their top scorer after he injured his face against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.

"It's nothing bad with Harry, but we've not got much time to recover," said Vincent Kompany.

"Sometimes you need an extra day. But we'll see how Harry feels in the morning. I'm assuming it's nothing bad. We've not had long to recover."

Celtic without Bernardo and Forrest for Bayern

Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Celtic will be without Paulo Bernardo and James Forrest for the second leg against Bayern.

Bernardo suffered a knock in Celtic's Scottish Cup victory over Raith Rovers, while Forrest has returned to training after sustaining an injury in December.

"Paulo will be out for a few weeks. He's got his ankle in a boot, so maybe four or five weeks," Rodgers told the BBC.

"He's done great for us this season and what we've tried to do is try to keep the players fit by rotating. Sadly he's out for a little while, but we've still got good numbers in that position."

Several Milan players missing against Feyenoord

Former Chelsea man Ruben Loftus-Cheek looks set to miss AC Milan's match with Dutch club Feyenoord due to a muscle issue.

Warren Bondo, Alex Jimenez, Luka Jovic and Riccardo Sottil are also out for the second leg, with the Serie A side currently 1-0 down in the tie.

To make matters worse for Milan, they will also be without the injured Alessandro Florenzi.

Luiz doubtful for Juventus

Juventus star Douglas Luiz is a doubt for his side's second leg against PSV with a muscle injury.

The Italian club will also be missing Arkadiusz Milik due to a calf issue and Pierre Kalulu, who has hurt his thigh.

Juan Cabal and Gleison Bremer will both miss the match due to knee injuries, with Juventus hoping to hold on after taking a 2-1 lead in the tie.

Armando Obispo and Guus Til are doubts for PSV while Malik Tillman, Ricardo Pepi, Rick Karsdorp, Sergino Dest and Olivier Boscagli are all out.

Several question marks for PSG v Brest

Ibrahim Mbaye is a doubt for Paris Saint-Germain's match with fellow French side Brest with an ankle injury. Warren Zaire-Emery is out after also suffering an ankle problem.

PSG are in control after a 3-0 win in the first leg, and if that was not enough, Massadio Haidara, Romain Del Castillo and Jonas Martin are all doubts for Brest, while Ibrahim Salah is out with a metatarsal issue.

Dortmund without Nmecha for second leg

Borussia Dortmund defeated Sporting CP 3-0 in the first leg, but they will be without midfielder Felix Nmecha for the return. Ramy Bensebaini and Filippo Mane are also doubts for the match.

Their Portuguese opponents are without several players, too, including Geny Catamo, Daniel Braganca, Hidemasa Morita, Nuno Santos and Jeremiah Israel St. Juste.
