On a night to remember in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane and Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah both reached the half-century mark of goals in the competition. Kane notched his landmark goal in style as Bayern continued their battering of Atalanta, while Salah unleashed a rocket to help turn the tie around against Galatasaray. Robert Lewandowski also made more history.

Both Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah reached 50 goals in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, as Bayern Munich and Liverpool advanced to the quarter-finals.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane scored twice against Atalanta as Bayern breezed to a 10-1 aggregate win, while Salah scored a rocket to help Liverpool turn their tie around against Galatasaray.
As for Kane, only two players have bettered his record of 50 goals in 66 UEFA Champions League games, with just Erling Haaland (49 games) and Ruud van Nistelrooy (62 games) reaching the landmark number quicker.
After missing the first leg, Kane's 49th strike came from the penalty spot in the return game at Allianz Arena, which he had to retake after missing due to encroachment from the goalkeeper.
And then his 50th goal was scored in style, as he wriggled through two blue and black shirts before firing the ball into the top far corner.
His contribution helped Bayern towards a statement aggregate victory in their bid for a first Champions League title since 2020.
On the same night that Kane netted his half-century, his former Premier League rival Salah became the first African player to reach that number in the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool were trailing 1-0 against Galatasaray heading into the second leg, with a much bigger job on their hands than Bayern faced if they were to reach the last eight.
But Arne Slot's Reds were rampant at Anfield, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Hugo Ekitike and Ryan Gravenberch swaying the tie firmly in Liverpool's favour.
And Salah added gloss to the scoreline with a special strike to mark his 50th goal in the competition.
He combined with Florian Writz on the right-hand side before cutting in and unleashing a fierce, curled effort into the far top left corner, leaving goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir with no chance.
"Oh my word!" Darren Fletcher cried on TNT Sports as the ball flew into the net. "A trademark Mo Salah curling finish, rolling back the years, the Egyptian King!"
"Unstoppable. Absolutely unstoppable," TNT Sports co-commentator Ally McCoist added.
"They move it about. They shift it about. Watch the lay-off [from Wirtz]. It looks simple and it is relatively simple.

"What a finish. From that angle, you know exactly what he's going to do. He's going to attempt to curl it out of the post. The goalkeeper gets the slightest of fingertips to it, but there's no stopping it. What a goal."
TNT Sports pundit Steven Gerrard was seen celebrating the goal from the studio on what was a record-breaking night in the competition.
As well as Salah and Kane reaching 50 goals, Lamine Yamal became the youngest player in UEFA Champions League history to score 10+ goals.
The 18-year-old converted from the spot against Newcastle United for the second game running, as the Spaniards demolished The Magpies at Camp Nou to advance.
However, Yamal was not the only player to break a record in the Barcelona game, as Robert Lewandowski, 37, scored against his 41st club in the UEFA Champions League - no player has scored against more teams in the competition's history.
