Liverpool will be hoping to turn the tie around when the two sides meet at Anfield on Wednesday.

However, Liverpool have won just one of their last four games in all competitions following a 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.

There were boos from some home fans after Richarlison’s 90th-minute goal secured a point for struggling Spurs.

Dominik Szoboszlai said afterwards that Liverpool are "running out of time" to fix their misfiring form.

"A couple of weeks ago we had a talk between each other saying ‘Guys we don’t have such a lot of time to do this right so we have to wake up and start to go in a way that we want to play Champions League next season’," he said. 

"It’s a little bit boring when I say this, but we still need to find a solution because we are running out of time."

Liverpool are in fifth place in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Chelsea in sixth and two behind Aston Villa in fourth.

Galatasaray are four points clear at the top of the Turkish Super Lig, with a game in hand over second placed Fenerbahce.
