Real were knocked out in the quarter-final stage by German giants Bayern Munich.
However, Mbappe bagged 15 goals up until Real Madrid's exit, which was more than any other player in the UEFA Champions League this season.
The France international kicked off his European campaign with a brace against Ligue 1 outfit Marseille back in September.
And he followed up his two-goal salvo with a hat-trick in a resounding 5-0 win at Kazakh side Kairat Almaty that same month.
The 27-year-old drew blanks in meetings with Juventus and Liverpool but returned to form with a four-goal haul in Real Madrid's 4-3 win at Greek side Olympiacos at the end of November.

While he failed to net in the play-off meeting with the Portuguese side, and again in the round-of-16 2-1 second leg win at Manchester City, Mbappe scored in both legs against Bayern Munich.
It may not have been enough for Real to progress beyond the quarter-finals of the Champions League, but 15 goals were enough for Mbappe to win the Golden Boot.

The individual triumph caps what has been a solid campaign for the former Paris Saint-German forward.
Mbappe bagged 25 league goals for the Spanish giants, which was enough to win the Pichichi Trophy for the highest scorer in La Liga.
However, it was a disappointing season for Real as they ended the campaign trophyless having lost the Supercopa de Espana to rivals Barcelona and been knocked out of the Copa Del Rey in January.
In addition, Los Blancos finished eight points behind Barcelona, who beat Real to wrap up the 2025/26 title earlier this month.
Real Madrid are expected to undergo a summer of change with Jose Mourinho tipped to return to the Bernabeu helm.
Mourinho oversaw proceedings in the Spanish capital between 2010 and 2013 and is expected to be unveiled as Alvaro Arbeloa's replacement after the presidential elections next month.
