YAMAL INSPIRES BARCA COMEBACK IN INCREDIBLE DRAW
Lamine Yamal inspired Barcelona with a brilliant goal and assist in the second half to see his side escape with a 3-3 draw against Club Brugge.
The Belgian side led on three separate occasions, through Nicolo Tresoldi and twice through Carlos Forbs.
They were denied a dramatic late winner when VAR first denied a penalty and then a late goal from substitute Romeo Vermant, who thought he had won the game when scoring in the 90th minute, only for VAR to disallow the goal for a foul on Wojciech Szczesny.
The game started at a blistering pace, as Tresoldi scored after six minutes, tapping home after a perfect Forbs ball, before Ferran Torres instantly equalised mere seconds later.

Forbs then scored again on the counter-attack and Brugge led 2-1 at the break, before Yamal began to grow into the game.
The teenage superstar scored an absolutely sensational goal, weaving in and out of Brugge defenders to level the scores at 2-2, before Forbs quickly made it 3-2 to the home side with a delicate chip.
Yamal was not done there though, with a wonderful ball into the box causing Christos Tzolis to head it into his own net and both sides leaving with a point.

BARCELONA UP TO 12th, BRUGGE INTO PLAY-OFFS
That is a point that benefits both sides in the table too, as Barcelona rise to 12th in the table.
Their next Champions League match sees them take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, in a battle between 11th and 12th in the league phase table.
For Club Brugge, the point sees them rise to 22nd, which would be enough to advance to the play-offs if we were at the end of the league phase.
FT
FULL-TIME: CLUB BRUGGE 3-3 BARCELONA
A truly outstanding game of football and in the end, dare I say it, I think both sides will take that point.
Club Brugge were brilliant tonight on the counter attack and twice came very close to finding a late winner, but in Lamine Yamal, Barcelona have a genuine superstar on their hands and the teenager drags them to a much-needed point.
A brilliant game for the neutral in what we will likely call a Champions League game for the ages for years to come.
90+1'
NO GOAL!
It is indeed ruled to be a foul, I think that is just about the right call but my word is Wojciech Szczęsny lucky!
The Polish goalkeeper just drags the ball back away from the onrushing Vermant, who slides in and just takes out Szczęsny, before scoring.
It is, unsurpisingly, not a very popular decision in Belgium.
90'
GOAL BRUGGE!!!!
OH MY WORD!
JUST INCREDIBLE - BRUGGE HAVE SCORED AGAIN!
Romeo Vermant takes the ball off Wojciech Szczęsny and slots it into an empty net!
But oh hang on, is that a foul... VAR may be involved again here.
86'
CHANGE FOR CLUB BRUGGE
Hugo Vetlesen replaces Lynnt Audoor for Club Brugge.
84'
LOPEZ BOOKED
Fermin Lopez is shown a yellow card for a wild challenge on Mamadou Diakhon.
83'
RASHFORD OFF
Marcus Rashford is replaced by Roony Bardghji, can he inspire a Barca winner?
81'
YAMAL BOOKED
Lamine Yamal is booked for dissent by Anthony Taylor.
80'
MASSIVE CHANCE FOR BRUGGE!
This game is just incredible, it really is.
Brugge looked like they were in again, then substitute Romeo Vermant should have scored from six yards out, before the linesman puts his flag up for offside.
77'
GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
This is the game that just keeps on giving!
Lamine Yamal puts in a wonderfully threatening ball and Christos Tzolis, who has been so good going forward tonight for Club Brugge gets a clip on it which sends it into his own net - it is 3-3 now!
71'
NO PENALTY!
VAR did indeed get involved and it did not take long for Anthony Taylor to change his mind there.
Forbs ended up kicking Balde so no penalty - Brugge still holding onto a 3-2 lead here with just under 20 to go of normal time.
70'
CLUB BRUGGE PENALTY!
Carlos Forbs wins a penalty... Or does he?!
Anthony Taylor points to the spot after contact with Alejandro Balde, will this stand though, VAR check inbound...
68'
YAMAL COMES CLOSE!
Lamine Yamal is starting to gain control here and has a wonderful effort saved by Nordi Jackers.
That looked like it was heading into the far corner but the keeper just gets fingertips to it.
63'
GOAL CLUB BRUGGE!
What is going on here?!
Carlos Forbs should have equalised instantly but chips over the cross bar, then mere moments later finds himself in open space behind the Barcelona defense and cooly dinks over Szczęsny for his second of the night!
60'
LAMINE YAMAL GOAL!
And just like that, we are level here and that is just exquisite.
Lamine Yamal, who had not had his best game until this point weaves in and out of the entire Brugge defence, gets a flick from Fermin Lopez and slides it into the bottom left corner - that is truly special.
59'
BARCELONA STRIKE UPRIGHT AGAIN!
That was nearly the goal of the night and would have been a contender for goal of the tournament as Eric Garcia strikes from miles out.
He hits the crossbar and Barcelone must be wondering if tonight will be there night.
57'
TWO SUBS MADE
Marc Casado is the one to be replaced by Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres goes for Robert Lewandowski.
55'
HERE THEY COME
I didn't think it would be long before we saw a certain couple of Barcelona substitutes stripping off.
Robert Lewandowski and Dani Olmo will be entering the fray very shortly.
