VARGA WINNER EXTINGUISHES HOPE FOR SORRY RANGERS

Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros came from behind to beat a miserable Rangers outfit, moving third in the table in the process. They are now certain to make the playoffs, at least but, sitting third in the table, look good to make automatic progress into the last 16; the Ibrox outfit are going out.

It was Rangers, though, who took the lead , Bojan Miovski's acrobatic volley ruled out for offside before Var intervened. And Danny Rohl will wonder what might've happened had his team come in for the break with their lead intact, but in the final minute of added time they switched off at the back, allowing Bence Otvos to sweep in the equaliser.

Rangers couldn't get going in the second half, and when Ferencvaros sent the ball wide for Callum O'Dowda, his cross caught Emmanual Fernandez dreaming, and Barnabas Varga headed home his 20th goal of what is already a fantastic season.
