Nottingham Forest 4-0 Ferencvaros result - Hosts seal UEFA Europa League play-off spot as Igor Jesus grabs brace

Forest and their Hungarian opponents are both through.

Nottingham Forest crushed Ferencvaros on Thursday night to ensure their Europa League play-off place.

James McAtee starred throughout, and the former Manchester City playmaker scored a late penalty for his current side's fourth.

Before then, Bence Otvos' own goal opened the scoring, and Igor Jesus scored a brace with goals coming in both halves.

The result leaves Forest in 13th in the league format table, with Ferencvaros - managed by Robbie Keane - above them in 12th.

As the whistle blew, Forest appeared set to meet one of Fenerbahce or Panathinaikos in the play-offs.

Forest should be happy to cruise to victory from here.
